Tamara Keith: The Associated Press is at the core of the pool -- that is, the group of reporters who have been following the president around wherever the president goes, going back to FDR. And the White House, by going after AP for an editorial choice, is going directly at the First Amendment. It is going directly at the freedom of the press. And it is not coincidental that they are going after AP. AP is extremely influential. They're also kind of straight down the line. They are not a partisan news outlet in any way.

"Vance Wields Threat of Sanctions, Military Action to Push Putin Into Ukraine Deal," blared the headline of the news report, which was accompanied on X with the caption: "Exclusive: Vance pledged to hit Russia with sanctions and potentially military action if Putin won't agree to a peace deal that guarantees Ukraine's independence." The headline that characterized Vance as threatening Russia---including with American military force---was condemned by the Vice-President on Friday. Vance reiterated that President Donald Trump would bring peace to the region, and said the newspaper had "twisted my words." - - - - - Vance went on to outline...

Establishment media are weighing whether or not to boycott White House events to support the Associate Press’s feud with the White House press office, allowing “Breitbart … to take their places,” CNN reported Friday. Because the AP refuses to recognize the “Gulf of America” as its official name, the White House barred its reporters from covering three events in the Oval Office, causing the AP to threaten legal action.

Joe Rogan has claimed liberal media outlets are hemorrhaging readers due to Americans no longer trusting them. Rogan, 57, had been speaking about a recent op-ed from Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos, adding: 'you're not accurate, you're delusional.' Bezos had published the opinion piece, titled 'The hard truth: Americans don't trust the news media', in late October.

As we previously reported, Kamala Harris did an interview with Bill Whitaker on "60 Minutes' and it was a complete disaster. During the interview, Kamala Harris struggled when asked substantive questions. She notably avoided directly calling Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu an ally, despite the U.S. providing Israel with billions in military aid. Her vague responses did little to clarify her stance, especially when pressed on Netanyahu’s defiance of U.S. calls for a ceasefire. She was no better on domestic issues, Harris faced scrutiny over her economic plans, which could add $3 trillion to the deficit. Her typical talking points about...

President Joe Biden repeated the Charlottesville “fine people hoax” in an interview with Robert Costa on CBS News’ Sunday Morning. Biden falsely claimed, as he has since he launched his campaign in April 2019, that then-President Donald Trump praised neo-Nazis who rioted in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017. In fact, as the transcript reveals, Trump condemned the neo-Nazis.

This story is popping on Twitter, and -- if true -- it makes the entire mess surrounding the investigation into the Trump assassination attempt even worse. In the immediate aftermath of the assassination attempt, the Left argued Crooks was a registered Republican even though he'd made donations to ActBlue and Biden himself on inauguration day. Not exactly Republican, pro-Trump behavior. At this time, it's not confirmed that the account in question belonged to Thomas Crooks, but if it does -- and the FBI requested info on this particular account -- the way it was portrayed in Congressional testimony is different...

New York CNN — Moments after Donald Trump was rushed to safety following a failed assassination attempt at a Saturday night rally, some of his supporters turned toward the press pen with obscenities as they fingered reporters for blame.“This is your fault!” one attendee emphatically yelled, pointing at individual journalists as he approached the fence line separating them from attendees. “This is your fault!”“It is your fault!” exclaimed another.Axios reporter Sophia Cai, who quoted some in the crowd warning the press, “you’re next” and that their “time is coming,” even reported that a few rally goers tried to breach the...

Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana recently wrote an opinion column that was critical of trans athletes and USA Today-owned newspapers deleted the piece without even notifying Kennedy. This is reminiscent of the time in 2020 when Republican Senator Tom Cotton wrote an op-ed for the New York Times that was censored because it sent the paper’s staffers into fits of rage. Cotton had suggested using the military to control the riots in the ‘summer of love.’ Isn’t it fascinating that this censorship always seems to go in only one direction? ... Kennedy commented: “They think they are the speech...

Last week, 26-year-old illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra from Venezuela was arrested and charged with kidnapping and murdering Laken Riley. On February 22, the Augusta University student went for a morning jog but never returned. Athens, Georgia, police soon found Riley’s body, covered in injuries, in a wooded area on the University of Georgia campus. Antonio Ibarra was arrested the following day.A report from the AP suggested that Riley’s murder highlights “the fears of solo female athletes” and is about “the dangers female runners face.” The AP report also mentioned the death of Mollie Tibbetts, the 20-year-old University of Iowa...

“Putin is trying to court the MAGA GOP in the United States. In fact, one of the leaders of the MAGA GOP is in Moscow tonight.” “It's the man you see here with the MAGA leader, Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, possibly there in Moscow to interview Putin, definitely there as a Putin supporting celebrity.”

In the aftermath of E. Jean Carroll’s $83.3 million defamation victory against former President Donald Trump, a select group of media elites and celebrities gathered at the Flower Shop bar in New York’s Lower-East Side for a celebration. The party, thrown by MSNBC’s Molly Jong-Fast and saw an assembly of media elites and celebrities, including MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, former Saturday Night Live producer Marci Klein, New York Times opinion writer Lydia Polgreen, and Sarah Ellison of the Washington Post, all paying homage to nutcase E. Jean Carroll. “She seemed delighted and vindicated. She was in awe and victorious,” one guest...

On Wednesday, Vivek Ramaswamy absolutely destroyed a Washington Post reporter who thought she was asking a gotcha question by asking him to condemn white supremacy. "I'm not — I'm not going to recite some catechism for you,” Ramaswamy told her. "I'm against vicious racial discrimination in this country. So I'm not pledging allegiance to your new religion of modern wokeism which absolutely fits the test." "I'm not going to bend the knee to your religion. I'm sorry, I'm not asking you to bend the knee to mine, and I'm not going to bend the knee to yours. But do I...

President Trump Truth’d out an anonymous report titled “Summary of Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election in the Swing States.” The 32-page report includes separate sections for Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona. The source is anonymous, as they should be, for now, but all the information is cited, and most is now in the public square. Remaining anonymous could potentially thwart opportunities to use law enforcement to investigate the investigator and prevent Mockingbird Media from engaging in ad hominem attacks on individuals rather than information. The report starts out with a bold statement that, according to polling, more...

A new study has found that only 3.4 percent of American journalists are Republicans. Did they really need to do a study to learn this? Also, doesn’t that number seem a little high? This just confirms what everyone already knew anyway. This is why journalists at political debates often sound like they’re debating the Republican candidate – because they are. They see Republicans as opponents, not just political candidates. It also explains why almost all of them suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. A new study from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications found that just 3.4% of American journalists...

CNN national security analyst Juliette Kayyem said Tuesday on “News Central” that former President Donald Trump is using the “threat of violence” to rally the support of his people. Kayyem said, “It’s about to be 2024. We are running into an election period in which violence and the threat of violence are sort of viewed as an extension of our normal democratic differences. This is one of the successes of what Donald Trump has been able to do, is to sort of be kind of casual about violence.” She continued, “There’s two things. I don’t know how to say it...

CNN anchor Jake Tapper said Friday on his show “The Lead” that former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani engaged in “in the worst kind of racist sleaze imaginable” when accusing two election workers in Georgia of moving “dope.” Tapper said, “To remind folks, I want to play what Rudy Giuliani said, just a piece of what he said about Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, remember, they’re mother and daughter, way back in 2020, to the Georgia State House, some of the defamatory comments he said. Remember, they’re behavior, their conduct, Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman has been vouched for not only...

Media trust among Americans has reached its lowest point in six years.Gallup began its survey on media trust in 1972, repeating it in 1974 and 1976. Corrupt corporate media outlets like The New York Times scrambled on Thursday to justify their role in disseminating terrorist talking points to the world without scrutiny.“After Hospital Blast, Headlines Shift With Changing Claims,” one of the outlet’s Thursday headlines reads.NYT acknowledges that it was one of the “many Western news organizations” that regurgitated the unsubstantiated lie (sourced directly from the Hamas-controlled Gaza strip) that Israel killed hundreds by bombing a Gaza hospital.Even though there was plenty of evidence absolving the Jewish state of the alleged war crime, the publication made no effort to issue retractions, print corrections, or even apologize...
