January 4, 2011 Editorial: NOAA agent's transfer makes a mockery of IG's findings The Gloucester Daily Times Tue Jan 04, 2011, 11:01 PM EST If the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration gave a wit about its own credibility, or took the investigation and findings of the federal Inspector General's office seriously, NOAA enforcement officials would at least suspend so-called "criminal investigator" Susan Williams until allegations against her are cleared. Anyone who would craft a misleading affidavit in an attempt coax a bogus search warrant out of an administrative law judge, after all, has no place working in any kind of...

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.( I John 2:10-12)Cain and Abel were brothers. Both of them were strict Monotheistic worshippers also. But that is where the similarity...

January 3, 2011 Dear Mr. xzxzxzxzx, Thank you for contacting me with your concerns. I appreciate hearing from you. While the 111th Congress has come to a close, I have heard from a great number of Arkansans on a wide variety of issues. Please know I have taken note of your specific comments and concerns, and I will keep them in mind as I continue to work across the aisle to find legislative solutions. One of the specific concerns you mentioned in your letter relates to the repeal of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy currently in effect for U.S....

...There is no doubt among that audience, however, that Cuba is on the cusp of change. ... For Alberto, my barber on Havana's Calzada de Infanta, the effects have been immediate. "Things have certainly been better for us," he says of the new system that allows barbers and hairdressers to own and run their salons, set their own prices and pay taxes. "The old system was crazy by comparison." Alberto's wages have risen by more than 300 per cent. "I used to make 20 or 30 pesos a week. Now I'm taking home nearly a 100." Certainly, the price list...

"All injured guests have been treated and are being transported to area hospitals," a press release issued by the resort's management said. "Why is the press accepting [Obama Afghanistan policy] at face value?" Good question, and one posed by Richard Haas this morning. The president of the Council on Foreign Relations and Joe Scarborough ripped a "compliant press" on Morning Joe today for failing to ask the tough questions about Pres. Obama's prosecution of the war in Afghanistan. Scarborough suggested a theory as to why the press is punting: "it goes against a decade-long narrative that George Bush chose the wrong war and that Afghanistan was the right war." True, no doubt. But perhaps the more fundamental explanation of the MSM's current...

In a Sacramento address to state leaders, Villaraigosa — himself a longtime teachers union employee before launching a career in public office — declared that education in Los Angeles stands at "a...
