Our local evening news reported that the WikiLeaks site is being hosted on Amazon's "hack-proof" servers right here in Washington. I did a traceroute to verify this, and sure enough... that's where cablegate.wikileaks.org is being hosted. I find this apalling on a number of levels. What do other freepers think an American company aiding in the espionage against our nation?

Reason I ask is this article from The UK Telegraph which states that he is "teasing Barack Obama over drip, drip Wikileaks releases"... So is the worst yet to come and why is he going after Obama? I was always under the assumption that Assange was some kind of lefty, who would luv our Imam-in-Chief. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/tobyharnden/100065782/julian-assange-is-teasing-barack-obama-over-drip-drip-wikileaks-releases/

The following information was received from a member of Joe Miller’s team. These are the latest thoughts and observations from Joe and one of his advisers. Except in a few instances to add clarity this material is presented as it was received and unedited. November 23 2010 Joe Miller’s thoughts: “The political thing to do is concede, the right thing to do is fight” “We have to now speak to the hearts of Alaska and the nation, as well as to the mind of the court(s) The fraud card will distract from our primary message, but if we properly follow-up...

Getting your home ready to charge an electric car will either require little time or money ---- or a couple of months and thousands of dollars. It depends on what kind of electric car you buy, the wiring in your home and how quickly you want to juice your ride.

A "leaked" and unconfirmed PDF document first published by Crikey.com purports to show pictures of the damage done to a Qantas A380 on November 4 when it suffered an un-contained engine failure and shed parts over Indonesia. Photos in the document show a failure that sent debris toward the fuselage, gashes in a wing, serious damage to a flight control drive motor, severed wiring, damage to a forward spar and a large fuel pipe that's torn open. (Click through for images.) The document says the forward spar was "penetrated and is damaged extensively." The photos have not been officially confirmed...

If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the...

Just on FOX News Channel this AM. Fox has learned that David Axelrod, Obama's closest advisor in the White House is leaving much earlier than previously admitted. Axelrod, widely acknowledged to be the "brains" behind Obama's day-to-day WH operations, had leaked that he would be leaving in late Spring. Now, the timetable is being accelerated quickly, with The Ax expected to be out in early February. He'll barely have time to pack his bags and steal the O keys from his typewriter! This is very significant, but the reasoning behind it still not clear. Is Axelrod jumping ship before the...

Sorry for the huge image, but I wanted everyone to be able to see this photo taken of a TSA computer behind security glass at an airport. Notice the screen saver that is being used on the computer. These people are so arrogant they even have cavity search screen savers.

Back in September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren, a social studies school teacher at Robinson High School in Little Rock, Arkansas did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks out of her classroom. When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there were no desks. "Ms. Cothren, where're our desks?" She replied, "You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to sit at...

Think of this as a nice little time capsule from 50+ years ago....A review of "Reading: Chaos and Cure" just placed on Amazon: A wonderful and informative book I can heartily recommend to any parent or teacher. You learn a great deal about reading, for example, why Sight Words are a hoax, why phonics works. The authors state: "It is absurdly easy to teach a child to read with the proper method. Most of the children in America could be taught in a few weeks or months at the age of five. We shall tell you about various schools, now...

Jack B. Johnson, and wife, Leslie, were arrested Nov. 12 as federal investigators served search warrants at the County Administration Building. Each was charged with evidence tempering and destroying evidence. Just after 10:12 am Friday, Leslie Johnson frantically phoned her husband. Two FBI agents were at the front door of their two-story brick colonial in Mitchellville. "Don't answer it," the county executive said, unaware that FBI agents were listening in. Johnson ordered her to destroy a $100,000 check from a real estate developer hidden in a box of liquor. "Flush that," he said. And the cash? "Put it in your underwear." She replied, "I have it in my bra" - which is where agents discovered the money after she answered the door.

Dear Friends, When the regular American citizen hears that our borders can't be closed, illegal aliens are absorbing half of all revenue designed for 'the war on poverty' and that illegal aliens are actively voting in US elections; we shake our heads in disbelief. How's this all possible? How did Obama get elected President without disclosing his elgibility to hold the highest elected office in the land.

The Justice Department under President Obama may be unwilling to investigate the New Black Panthers, but it’s apparently intent on scrutinizing that other menace to society – New Jersey’s upstart Republican governor Chris Christie. This month, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report purporting to show that Christie, who has built up a reputation as a spending-slashing fiscal conservative by taking on New Jersey’s bloated public sector, routinely overcharged the government for hotel stays while in his former job as a U.S. Attorney. Christie exceeded the government’s set rate for travel expenses on 14 of 15 trips, according to...

Not a real strong endorsement for Moonbeam and the idiot voters in CA. Will the GOP House keep allowing Obama to shovel money to CA to keep it from going under? Pimco and other NY muni bonds are not looking too sporty either.
