It’s well substantiated that liberals tend to suffer madness and depression more than conservatives. Unfortunately, psychotherapies for depression are not always effective. Perhaps a complicating factor is that the afflicted often try to explain away their disease by insisting they care more about social problems, especially perceived inequality. Then why did the mental health issues become even more exacerbated during the first Trump (45th) presidency? Even research from leftist academia concedes that wealth inequality in the U.S. decreased during Trump’s first term — for the first time in three decades. Under Trump, lower-income Americans were particularly sanguine about economic expansion,...

A prominent community and civil rights activist set himself on fire last week near Santa Cruz City Hall, just hours after President Donald Trump took his oath of office and a heavily attended Martin Luther King Jr. Day march had cleared in downtown Santa Cruz on Jan. 20. Firefighters extinguished the flames while the activist was standing atop the Black Lives Matter street mural in front of city hall. The person was badly burned and airlifted to a nearby trauma unit, according to police and fire scanners.

How does one understand violent crimes that are presented as being “without motive”? Or better yet, how does one understand violent crimes if one cannot begin to comprehend their openly stated motive? For example, the secular and materialistic West increasingly only understands motives prompted by material needs or desires. Thus theft and rape make perfect sense as they are both materially “gratifying.” The West also still understands generic human “passions,” such as violence and even murder for personal revenge and so forth.

A U.S. House Committee has launched a probe of the Biden-Harris administration after reports that the White House pressured the World Professional Association of Transgender Health, a leading professional nonprofit association, to remove the age limits for transgender surgeries and drugs for minors. Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Mich., chair of the Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services, sent a letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra opening the probe, which requests all documentation and communication around the alleged “political interference” and whether HHS has pressured other medical groups to alter its guidance. Critics have raised concerns that those surgeries, which do...

I am starting to think that Kamala Harriss's cognitive health is an issue. She can't complete sentences, is mostly incoherent, and her party/media/campaign are hiding her and treating her as if she is Joe Biden aka a veal calf.

Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski has threatened to leave the Republican Party over the nomination of Donald Trump. Murkowski, who has long sought to undermine Trump and the wider conservative agenda, bemoaned the fact that he was once again the party’s nominee. “I wish that as Republicans, we had … a nominee that I could get behind,” Murkowski said in an interview with CNN. “I certainly can’t get behind Donald Trump.”

DeSantis was on the latest This Week on ABC and told host Jon Karl that Trump wants a party defined solely by loyalty to him, and not by commitment to principles or “delivering” on them for voters. “Is that what’s going on?” asked Karl. “Because we are now seeing this stampede of elected Republican officials endorsing Donald Trump.” DESANTIS: Well, you’ll have to ask them. I mean, I can tell you this. I mean, I do know elected officials who encouraged me to run and say they’re going to vote for me in a primary, but yet have endorsed Donald...

Attorney Lin Wood, who filed legal challenges seeking to overturn Donald Trump's 2020 election loss, is relinquishing his law license, electing to retire from practicing rather than face possible disbarment. Multiple states have weighed disciplining him for pushing Trump's continued false claims that he defeated Joe Biden. On Tuesday, Wood asked officials in his home state of Georgia to "retire" his law license in light of "disciplinary proceedings pending against me." In the request, made in a letter and posted on his Telegram account, Wood acknowledges that he is "prohibited from practicing law in this state and in any other...

Former Yale University volunteer and researcher Bandy Lee has lost yet another lawsuit against the school in relation to the non-renewal of her agreement with her. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a prior ruling that found Yale acted lawfully when it decided not to renew an agreement with Lee, who had an unpaid role at the Ivy League university. Lee (pictured) has not “adequately alleged a promise that Yale would not decline to renew her appointment on account of her public statements,” the three-judge panel ruled. The decision went on to review Lee’s claims and explain why...

VIDEO"Liberalism is a mental disorder." And if you doubt those words, then take a look at Nebraska DEMOCRAT state senator Machaela Cavanaugh in action. Just when you think she can't get any nuttier, she gets even nuttier. The most astounding thing about this video is the sad realization that people in Nebraska, of all places, actually voted for this very very disturbed person.

He was not a MAGA member; he did not support the "insurrection" of Jan. 6; and he was never even a Republican. But David DePape, 42, was a known nudist activist who his ex-girlfriend says was also a progressive and mentally ill. DePape was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, elder abuse and burglary for having bludgeoned Paul Pelosi, 82, with a hammer, fracturing his skull. DePape has been residing in a decrepit school bus that sits outside the Berkeley home of his ex-girlfriend, Oxane "Gypsy" Taub, also a pro-nudist activist. A two-decade resident of the San Francisco Bay Area,...

Actress Jennifer Lawrence claims she “can’t **** with people who aren’t political anymore” — meaning she can’t deal with them anymore — and that she “unleash[es] text message” rants at her family in Kentucky and has nightmares about Tucker Carlson. In a recent interview with Vogue, Lawrence spoke with writer Abby Aguirre over a bottle of wine in an outdoor dining area, where she talked about her misery derived from the U.S. Supreme Court overruling Roe v. Wade and her conservative family members — including her father — in Louisville, Kentucky. The actress, who has an estimated net worth of...

Some lunatic MSNBC doctor wants everyone to carry around masks and badger others to wear them. This Dr. Patel also appears to advise mask bullies to use lies about elderly mothers and cancerous children as emotional blackmail. This is the latest “crazy” response (the doctor’s word, not mine) to a federal judge in Florida finally putting an end to the anti-science mask mandate demanded by the fascist, unelected bureaucrats at the CDC.

HBO’s Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has blasted New York City for lifting masking mandates, saying it represents “an enormous step backwards.” She also indicated she and her family will continue to mask up despite the city’s newly relaxed rules. Her angry screed comes as the Hollywood star posted photos her herself and her family posing maskless with friends while on vacation in Kenya. Starting Monday, New York City formally lifted vaccine requirements and indoor mask mandates, including in public schools, where masks will be optional for kids 5 and up. Masks are still mandatory for pre-kindergarten kids...

Lincoln Project founder Rick Wilson said Friday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that the Republican Party was building a “dystopian, bizarre authoritarian police state.” When asked about a proposal by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to create a police force to investigate election fraud, Wilson said, “Look, if Ron DeSantis forms his own election police force, he needs to start in the Villages, a Republican hotbed, where the only cases of voter fraud in the 2020 election in Florida came from. They were all Republicans. They were all Trump supporters. But I’m going to promise you if he does get his way...

A CBS contributor on Wednesday morning told viewers to have appetizers in the garage while taking rapid Covid tests before Thanksgiving dinner if they don’t feel comfortable asking guests for their vaccine papers. “It might be a difficult conversation before people step into your house to say, ‘whoa, wait a minute, where’s your card? What’s your status?’ before you walk into my home,” CBS Mornings’ co-host Nate Burleson said.
