A conservative group which helped organize the famous March on Washington says it was left out of the seminal civil rights event's 50th anniversary celebration held Wednesday. The Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) was one of the six big organizing groups who coordinated the 1963 March on Washington 50 years ago. However, CORE says none of the event organizers at this year's remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech invited anyone from the black conservative organization, particularly CORE's chairman and '63 March on Washington alum Roy Innis (pictured), to speak.

Here is newly posted video of March On Washington. This video includes a couple of Freepers! Myself, Wpin and Pete Kessler are the longer haired (twins) who are speaking in this video. Sorry it is up so late, our video editor was on his honeymoon. We should be posting several more videos next week, including some from the National Freeper Convention held that weekend in DC. I attended the Rally in Washington this past weekend, and I assure you I am not a racist. When I came back and told some family members about my trip… Well, this is how the conversation went. “Are you a teabagger?,you must be a teabagger?” In which I respond “You must be watching some Rachel Maddow”, “Nope, are you a teabagger? That’s what you are called, right?”

I titled this thread "Tale of Two Protests" because what I saw in Washington DC on September 12, 2009 illustrated a vast difference in liberal versus conservative protest content, values, and execution. To me, one of the most amazing aspects of this protest by conservatives was the character in a manner in which individuals expressed themselves. It was even more surreal to know that all who were there had come from every different corner of life imaginable in the United States. Here is video of talk show host Mason Weaver speaking at the "Taxpayers March on Washington" today. Weaver told the crowd, "I thought you would want to hear a black man speak to you without a teleprompter." Weaver blasted Obama by asking the crowd, "How's that Hope and Change working out for you?"
