A conservative group which helped organize the famous March on Washington says it was left out of the seminal civil rights event's 50th anniversary celebration held Wednesday.

The Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) was one of the six big organizing groups who coordinated the 1963 March on Washington 50 years ago. However, CORE says none of the event organizers at this year's remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech invited anyone from the black conservative organization, particularly CORE's chairman and '63 March on Washington alum Roy Innis (pictured), to speak.

They play hard and dirty, so we either have to go back at them twice as hard or else.

They own the press right now.
They have the teacher’s unions indoctrinating our children.
They give crumbs to those who vote Democrat.
They over pay and over employ government workers and IMO sue the dues as a money laundering scheme for the Democrat party.

It’s been going on and getting worse for decades.
It will take lots of time and effort to turn this dishonor around.

FUBO

“When I was in Montgomery, Alabama, I went to a shoe shop quite often, known as the Gordon Shoe Shop. And there was a fellow in there that used to shine my shoes, and it was just an experience to witness this fellow shining my shoes. He would get that rag, you know, and he could bring music out of it. And I said to myself, ‘This fellow has a Ph.D. in shoe shining.’

What I’m saying to you this morning, my friends, even if it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, go on out and sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures; sweep streets like Handel and Beethoven composed music; sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry; sweep streets so well that all the host of heaven and earth will have to pause and say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who swept his job well.’

If you can’t be a pine on the top of a hill

Be a scrub in the valley—but be

The best little scrub on the side of the hill,

Be a bush if you can’t be a tree.

If you can’t be a highway just be a trail

If you can’t be the sun be a star;

It isn’t by size that you win or fail—

Be the best of whatever you are.”

One of the hallmarks of a totalitarian regime is ideological control.

The event was a circle jerk of racist leftists. Why on earth would they want a conservative group there?

A friend of mine — a strongly conservative white GOP state committeeman — was a freedom rider in 1964, is a lifelong member of CORE, and a friend to Roy and Niger Innis and Ward Connerly.

The so-called Civil Rights movement considers CORE and Innis to be traitors to the cause because they fail to embrace Marxism.

The event was a circle jerk of racist leftists.

The Democrats commercialized and demeaned the memory of Martin Luther King, but who can be surprised about that? Remember, the Democrats turn even funerals into campaign rallies.
