Free Republic

Today, several members of the Chicagoland Chapter, 3 to be exact, showed up to deny the Anti-Bush protestors there limelight. In attendance was justshutupandtakeit, TheRightGuy, and myself. We were joined by a UofC student who heard of the rally through school, and another gentleman who was disgusted at the display of hatred for our country. The crowd was somewhere between 400-600, not all students. There were several 'fiery' speeches by persons I do not know, nor could I understand everything they said, especially during the introductions. We had an awesome time today, and really made an impact on the mood of the event. The cheers from the antis seemed to decrease, especially toward the end, as they listened to what we had to say and considered the truth. I think that most of the antis out here aren't really all that committed, nor are they well informed. It might not take much to push many into neutrality or better.
