Now, he's getting rich off it. Democratic and progressive groups paid Elias's firm more than $1 million in the most recent quarter, according to Federal Election Commission records released this week. It used to be that 90% of the time, you accessed stuff only on your computer’s local network. Then in 1993 at the University of Illinois, Marc Andreessen developed Mosaic, the first internet browser, which allowed users to wander around the World Wide Web 90% of the time.
