The Biden administration's disinformation czar claimed in a book she authored this year she will not be "silenced" on social media as she pushed back against what she considered to be "harassment" from men whenever she shared opinions online. She claims the "infrastructure of the internet is built for men." In her recent book, "How to Be a Woman Online," Nina Jankowicz raises concerns on a number of subjects surrounding the backlash women face online, placing great focus on how men respond to what she has to say. "We accept that harassment of women is simply the cost of their...

Philadelphia, PA, 16 February 2011 - Lithium, introduced in the late 1940's, was the first "wonder drug" in psychiatry. It was the first medication treatment for the manic and depressive episodes of bipolar disorder and it remains among one of the most effective treatments for this disorder. In the past 15 years, as molecular mechanisms underlying the treatment of bipolar disorder began to emerge, basic research studies conducted in animals began to identify neuroprotective and perhaps neurotrophic effects of this important medication. The identification of these molecular actions of lithium coincided with the discovery of regional brain volume deficits in...

Symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). They are different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through from time to time. Bipolar disorder symptoms can result in damaged relationships, poor job or school performance, and even suicide. But bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives.

I made the mistake of listening to Savage again last night, and he AGAIN blasted Rush Limbaugh, calling his show really boring, calling him a fat loudmouth, "Mr. Gulfstream", saying no one wanted to hear Limbaugh talk about the election anymore... He said a few more things, but the exact verbiage escapes me. He also said numerous times that he will not discuss politics anymore, then quickly goes into it. He also took yet another series of swipes at President Bush and Arnold S. He claims that Arnold has a big ego, is a disgrace, and has done NOTHING for...

While reading the Kerry material presented on FR and elsewhere, I've started to notice mentions of Kerry being in a funk for extended periods of time. One reference mentioned Kerry staying with him for about a week after a campaign loss and Kerry not saying a word the whole time. Another story alluded to a converation with Kerry and Miss "T" in which he admitted seeing a therapist for the angst as he put it. I think there's another aspect to Kerry that's not common knowledge. If it's true, it can be pieced together. FR is the place to do...

His scent still lingers on the bed sheets in their SoHo loft. Kathie Russo hasn't changed them. She wants to remember the last time her husband, Spalding Gray, slept there. His skis still stand in a corner of the living room. He was supposed to fly to Aspen on Jan. 10, but his flight was canceled. So he saw a movie, Big Fish, with two of their kids, Theo and Marissa, and walked the dog. That evening, with Russo at a conference, Gray went back out. He boarded the Staten Island Ferry. For years, the acclaimed 62-year-old monologuist and actor...
