A Texas Democrat county commissioner was arrested Thursday on charges that he and three associates committed mail-in ballot fraud in a 2018 primary election . Gregg County commissioner Shannon Brown – along with Marlena Jackson, Charlie Burns and DeWayne Ward – was indicted by a grand jury, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced. This comes to me via the NJ Board here on FR. I believe it deserves wider attention. I have been advocating voting in person because it had been my impression that votes cast on Election Day would be counted that day. Apparently this is not to be the case here in NJ.
