A Texas Democrat county commissioner was arrested Thursday on charges that he and three associates committed mail-in ballot fraud in a 2018 primary election . Gregg County commissioner Shannon Brown – along with Marlena Jackson, Charlie Burns and DeWayne Ward – was indicted by a grand jury, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced. Brown won his March Democratic primary by a tally of 1,047 to 1,042. He received a much greater share of his support from absentee ballots, according to the Texas Tribune. Ballots for 38 voters, the report reads, accuse Brown and the others of “intentionally [causing] false information...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal appeals court on Sunday temporarily halted a six-day extension for counting absentee ballots in Wisconsin’s presidential election, a momentary victory for Republicans and President Donald Trump in the key presidential battleground state. As it stands, ballots will now be due by 8 p.m. on Election Day. A lower court judge had sided with Democrats and their allies to extend the deadline until Nov. 9. Democrats sought more time as a way to help deal with an expected historic high number of absentee ballots.

President Donald Trump laid out the evidence of mail-in voter fraud for reporters at a White House press conference on Sunday. “We are gravely concerned about the Democrat assault on election integrity,” Donald Trump said. The president cited the following stories, questioning the integrity and stability of the mail-in voting process: In Brooklyn, 25 percent of mail-in ballots were ruled invalid during the June Democrat primary. In a New Jersey special election, nearly 20 percent of the ballots were thrown out, and four people are being prosecuted for fraud. In a Florida primary, more than 35,000 mail-in ballots were rejected, and over...

A tsunami of Democrats seeking ballots through the mail in this pandemic-plagued presidential election year is upending the very dynamics of voting in Ohio. The impact of this ground-shaking change shows up in two major ways: • The outcome of the presidential race in the bellwether Buckeye State appears even more unpredictable than usual. • Ohio could be among the states where election fraud is alleged simply because the leader in the presidential vote could shift dramatically on election night and possibly shift back a week-and-a-half later.

A tsunami of Democrats seeking ballots through the mail in this pandemic-plagued presidential election year is upending the very dynamics of voting in Ohio. The impact of this ground-shaking change shows up in two major ways: The outcome of the presidential race in the bellwether Buckeye State appears even more unpredictable than usual. Ohio could be among the states where election fraud is alleged simply because the leader in the presidential vote could shift dramatically on election night and possibly shift back a week-and-a-half later. Before COVID-19 hit, more Ohio Republicans than Democrats voted by mail, generally speaking. Democrats favored...

A Democrat operative says the United States Postal Service (USPS) workers who despise President Trump will sometimes help election fraudsters by throwing in the garbage mail-in ballots from Republican-heavy neighborhoods. Last month, as Breitbart News highlighted, a Democrat operative told the New York Post‘s Jon Levine a number of stories in which insiders like him lead teams of fraudsters to commit election fraud by paying homeless voters off, taking advantage of the elderly, posing as registered voters, and printing up fake ballots. One notable tactic, the Democrat operative said, is how insiders will use USPS workers to help sway election...

Democrats are launching a digital ad targeting Pennsylvanians voting by mail to explain how to correctly fill out and return the ballots, hoping to avert worried predictions that 100,000 votes or more could be invalidated because the ballots aren’t put in the proper envelope. The so-called naked ballots have become a huge concern for Democrats in the state since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled last week that ballots had to be rejected if not enclosed in the proper secrecy envelope. The ruling was a victory for President Donald Trump’s campaign in the battleground state. Democrats so far have been far...

I think this is partly a Trump thing and partly a “you know, maybe mail-in ballots aren’t that great an idea after all” thing. Driving the news: In Colorado, former Gov. John Hickenlooper, who’s running against Sen. Cory Gardner, told Axios that he’s encouraging voters to physically take their mail-in ballots to a dropbox and to do so “early, really early.”Paulette Jordan, a Democratic candidate for Senate in Idaho, told Axios that she’s encouraging voters to take their filled out mail ballots in person to the county courthouse.Black PAC has moved from exclusively educating voters on voting by mail...

Here’s what the settlement would do: Extend the deadline for local election boards to receive mailed absentee ballots. Allow an absentee ballot to be counted if it’s either a) received by the county board by 5 p.m. on election day, Nov. 3; or b) the ballot is postmarked on or before election day and received by nine days after the election. Direct the state election board to create a process to resolve errors on absentee ballots that could be fixed with an affidavit from the voter. Examples include a mailed absentee ballot lacking a voter signature or a witness signature....

Democrats' mail voting pivot Democrats spent the early months of the coronavirus pandemic urging their base to vote absentee. But as threats of U.S. Postal Service delays, Team Trump litigation and higher ballot rejection rates become clearer, many are pivoting to promote more in-person voting as well.

RUSH: Now, look at this, folks. Police in Greenville, Wisconsin, found three trays of mail in a ditch. An independent, nationwide analysis of voter rolls in 42 states has identified thousands of probable deceased and duplicate registrants, as well as cases of individuals credited for voting more than once. “The.. analysis presented ... makes it abundantly clear that states across America, including many that will determine control of the White House and Congress, are unprepared to accommodate a surge in mail-in voting this fall,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said. “After standardizing registration lists in 42 states, Public Interest Legal Foundation’s SAVE Database uncovered voter rolls saturated with alarming errors. SAVE revealed 349,773 apparently deceased...

Police are investigating how three trays of mail, including absentee ballots, ended up in a ditch in Wisconsin, a swing state whose voters could prove crucial in the upcoming elections. The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office said the mail was found around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning near a highway and was immediately returned to the U.S. Postal Service, Fox 11 reported. "The United States Postal Inspection Service immediately began investigating and we reserve further comment on this matter until that is complete," USPS spokesman Bob Sheehan said in a statement. The incident comes a mere five weeks before the presidential election,...

This comes to me via the NJ Board here on FR. I believe it deserves wider attention. I have been advocating voting in person because it had been my impression that votes cast on Election Day would be counted that day. Apparently this is not to be the case here in NJ. (See the link I've given about or click here.) I still believe that voting in person is best for all Trump supporters so long as they have reasonable confidence that their vote will be tallied on Election Day. But it is obviously best to find out what is...
