A Texas Democrat county commissioner was arrested Thursday on charges that he and three associates committed mail-in ballot fraud in a 2018 primary election .
Gregg County commissioner Shannon Brown along with Marlena Jackson, Charlie Burns and DeWayne Ward was indicted by a grand jury, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced.
Brown won his March Democratic primary by a tally of 1,047 to 1,042. He received a much greater share of his support from absentee ballots, according to the Texas Tribune.
Ballots for 38 voters, the report reads, accuse Brown and the others of intentionally [causing] false information to be provided on an application for ballot by mail.
Applications allegedly indicated that the voter was disabled, when in fact the voter was not disabled.
It is unclear what percentage of the 38 ballots were successfully processed.

Perfectly safe. If you like your mail in ballot, you can keep your mail in ballot. Early in person voting in Nevada runs 10/17-10/30. We plan on taking advantage of those days. Then with an absentee ballot and unsolicited mail in ballot...... :-) Oh, sorry. I was thinking like a libodemocommie there for a sec.
Ping!
It’s not like Trump is ignoring this.
FAR FROM.
He is all over it.
/u gave stopped doubting whether Trump know how to handle any situation a long time ago when I was WRONG every single time.
People here are stuck in old “weak, rino republican potus or contender” mode.
Trump is a shark.
He will make this whole mail in thing backfire brutally on the dems and do great on election night.
If anyone thinks he is sitting and waiting to lose due to fraud in November, they don’t know Trump.
Just more gaslighting per Chuck Todd.
