Democrats are launching a digital ad targeting Pennsylvanians voting by mail to explain how to correctly fill out and return the ballots, hoping to avert worried predictions that 100,000 votes or more could be invalidated because the ballots arent put in the proper envelope.
The so-called naked ballots have become a huge concern for Democrats in the state since the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled last week that ballots had to be rejected if not enclosed in the proper secrecy envelope. The ruling was a victory for President Donald Trumps campaign in the battleground state.
Democrats so far have been far more likely than Republicans to request mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania and the rest of the country. Trump won Pennsylvania by a mere 44,000 votes in 2016, and polls show a close race between Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
A 30-second digital ad released Thursday walks voters through the process of correctly filling out and returning a Pennsylvania absentee ballot. The June primary was the first election with widespread mail voting in the state and most voters have little experience with the method.
Remember, you must place the ballot in the secrecy envelope first for your vote to count, the ads male narrator says. After walking voters through a four-step process, he closes by saying: Thats all there is. The ad is aimed at voters who have already requested a mail-in ballot.

Isn’t this what they got mad at Ashcroft about?
This is what happens when you rely too heavily on morons.
Idiots
Remember, in the 2000 election, the Democrats sued and claimed their constituents were too stupid to vote properly.
If they were really smart enough to vote properly, they’d be Republicans.
How hard is it to follow simple directions and put your ballot in the correct envelope?
Isn’t this man-splaining?
Why does this remind me of “hanging chads”?
He says: Then comes my favorite part, the secrecy envelope. Thats the envelope you put your ballot in. ... Then you put that secrecy envelope inside the big envelope.
Having pushed for massive mail in voting, Dems suddenly realize their voters might be too dumb to follow instructions for properly returning the ballot.

“If they were really smart enough to vote properly, theyd be Republicans.”
+10
DemocRats have been saying for years that their constituency is too stupid or lazy to get a photo ID, now they are saying they are incapable of reading and following simple written instructions.
Do you notice that every “system” that Democrats create fails?
Vote by mail, early voting, no ID, etc are all intended to undermine confidence in our elections so a marxist revolution can finally overturn individual liberty and constitutional government.
> Democrats are launching a digital ad targeting Pennsylvanians voting by mail to explain how to correctly fill out and return the ballots
Impossible. Mail-in voting works perfectly and anyone who disagrees is simply trying to suppress the vote. Isn’t that what we’ve been told?
Let us cut to the obvious, no secrecy means any handler can ‘adjust the vote’ to individual preference. This absolutely NEGATES the secret / Australian ballot process. The US Judiciary has based so many court decisions on “one man, one vote”, that damaging its basis like this, is going to be an immediate “thumbs down”!
The Dems better hope that ballots filled out with a crayon are acceptable.
>>DemocRats have been saying for years that their constituency is too stupid or lazy to get a photo ID
Isn’t this an unfair demand on them? To expect them to have a pen/pencil to fill out the ballot? To expect them to be able to read or follow directions? /s
It’s going to be hard to use the race card on this one, because if they do, that means they are saying some races are not smart enough. So maybe we will be spared cries of “racism” on this issue.

Pennsylvania Ping!

Fortunately the Rats waste their money on these ads ... and to no avail. Low-IQ Rat voters can keep three things in their minds at the same time. They will be lost after step two.
