A New Hope math teacher pleaded not guilty to the sexual battery of a 17-year-old student Tuesday after she was indicted by a grand jury. Katherine Robbins, of 4097 New Hope Road in Lowndes County, had been on administrative leave since allegations surfaced in March. Robbins, who is married with two young children, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the male student over an extended period of time, according to sources at the school.
