JERUSALEM, Israel -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he's under fire because he won't compromise the safety of Israel. "When there is pressure on Israel to give up on its security, the easiest thing is to give up," Arutz Sheva quoted Netanyahu's response at the Knesset. "As prime minister, I stand for the security of Israel," he continued. "The life of every single citizen and soldier matters to me, and I am not prepared to make comprises that will endanger our country." "Our interests are not on the minds of those who attack us -- or me -- personally,"...

The White House on Wednesday sought to tamp down the controversy over a magazine piece that detailed deep tensions between the U.S. and Israel – and quoted an unnamed senior Obama administration official calling the Israeli leader a “chicken****.” Administration officials, including White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, did not deny the quote. They also did not signal there would be any robust effort to find out who said it. But Alistair Baskey, spokesman for the National Security Council, said the criticism does not reflect how the rest of the administration views Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Certainly that's not the...

As far as hiking buddies go, Barack Obama and Bear Grylls make for an unlikely pairing. Grylls is a TV outdoorsman with a flair for drama and a propensity for drinking his own urine. Obama is cerebral and stolidly even-keeled, and, you know, the president of the United States. Nevertheless, the strange duo is slated for some bonding Tuesday while hiking the Exit Glacier, a south Alaskan river of ice that has shrunk by 1.25 miles in recent decades. They have no plans to drink urine, Grylls has confirmed, and the adventurer’s usually madcap exploits will be scaled down to...

The U.S. Office of the Special Counsel has recommended the removal of White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway over violations of the Hatch Act. The OSC wrote that her “violations, if left unpunished, would send a message to all federal employees that they need not abide by the Hatch Act’s restrictions. Her actions thus erode the principal foundation of our democratic system — the rule of law.” This isn't the first time a White House or cabinet official violated the Hatch Act. It happened several times in the Obama administration but the OSC didn't recommend the removal of the official. In...

Reeling from a year of public relations disasters, United Airlines has named former White House press secretary Josh Earnest as its new spokesman. Earnest, who served for eight years under President Barack Obama, the last three as press secretary, will handle communications for United, which stumbled in its messaging in response to situations including a passenger-dragging incident and a series of mishaps involving pets, damaging the Chicago-based airline’s reputation. “United Airlines is an iconic, global brand with a long history — but it's United's bright future that makes me enthusiastic about joining the team,” Earnest said Thursday in a news...

In a transparent attempt at blame-shifting, former Obama spokesman Josh Earnest has tried to place responsibility for President Obama’s failure to respond effectively to Russian meddling in the election . . . on Republicans. It’s been reported that Obama was paralyzed into inaction by fears of seeming to help Hillary during the campaign. Appearing on today’s Morning Joe, Earnest said: “The first time, [McConnell] didn’t have time to schedule time to talk about it. This is something that Republicans did not take seriously, and that did hamstring our efforts to respond to this as effectively as we would have liked.”...

Which is . . . ? Donald Trump obviously doesn’t need to worry. If he crosses any of Obama’s red lines, all that will happen is that Vladimir Putin will swoop in and broker a phony deal in which Trump pretends to give up his weapons. I suppose there are still leftists who buy the narrative that Trump and Putin are best pals, so the whole thing is set up from the start. Seriously, though . . . one thing we know about Obama is that he is willing to fight an enemy. It’s just that he has to actually...

I know what you’re thinking because I’m thinking it too, as is everyone who worked for the Obama administration on foreign policy: “Since when does Obama enforce red lines?” Actually I suspect you’ll find him enforcing lots of moral “red lines” in the future, now that all that’s required of him is giving a speech to an adoring media peppered with lots of that’s-not-who-we-ares. That was 80 percent of his presidency but it’ll be 99 percent of his retirement.

Former White House Secretary Josh Earnest told MSNBC's Chris Jansing that President Obama wouldn't engage in political debates unless the federal government started to cross "clear red lines."

On its 'Today Show' earlier this morning, NBC revealed that it has signed former Obama White House press secretary Josh Earnest as a political analyst. Earnest is expected to provide political commentary on NBC and MSNBC. And, in an hilarious welcoming statement, the Today Show's Savannah Guthrie warned Earnest that he would now have to disavow himself of his political bias to provide impartial political analysis...just before inviting him to take shots at Republicans. "White House Press Secretary under President Obama we're pleased to announce is joining us a political analyst." "Now you have to wear your analyst hat, not...

Former President Barack Obama's final press secretary, Josh Earnest, was named an NBC News and MSNBC political analyst on Monday morning. Earnest, a Kansas City native, served as White House Press Secretary from 2014 to 2017. Axios obtained an internal memo from NBC New President Noah Oppenheim and MSNBC President Phil Griffin. "A native of Kansas City, Josh graduated from Rice University with a degree in political science and policy studies. With his wealth of experience and insight, Josh will be a great addition to our roster of contributors and will be an asset for our two networks as we...

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest expressed annoyance that President Obama doesn't get enough credit for being the "most transparent" president in history. . . . Earnest added that there is really "no constituency in American politics for transparency in government beyond journalists."

HERSHEY, Pennsylvania — President-elect Donald Trump went after White House spokesman Josh Earnest during a rally here Thursday, calling him a "foolish guy." "This foolish guy Josh Earnest, I don't know if he's talking to President Obama. You know, having the right press secretary is so important because he is so bad, the way he delivers a message. He can deliver a positive message and it sounds bad," Trump said during a stop on his post-election "Thank You Tour." While Trump never mentioned Russia specifically — he mentioned China and Mexico over the course of his speech — the slam...

Obama Aide Insults WWII Vets on Pearl Harbor: GET OVER IT! By George | December 6, 2016 Obama administration press secretary Josh Earnest has made a career on his snarky, hyper-partisan comments from the press room podium, but this was UNFORGIVABLE. Addressing the corrupt media hacks about the upcoming visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Pearl Harbor, Earnest dropped a comment that any WWII veteran would take as an INSULT. From BizPac Review: During a White House press briefing Monday, Earnest was asked whether veterans may be offended by Abe’s visit if he expressed no regret over the...

White House spokesman Josh Earnest says a high-ranking presidential adviser and the top diplomat to Cuba will represent the United States at Fidel Castro’s funeral. Earnest is emphasizing that the two are not part of a formal delegation to the service, but the appearance of deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes and Jeffrey DeLaurentis shows a commitment to an “ongoing, future-oriented relationship with the Cuban people.” DeLaurentis is awaiting Senate confirmation to be U.S. ambassador to Cuba. …

President Obama has described Donald Trump as ignorant, dangerous and unfit to lead the nation, but he’ll ask the Republican president-elect Thursday not to wipe out his cherished, legacy-making executive actions on everything from the Iranian nuclear deal to Obamacare. In a meeting at the White House to prepare Mr. Trump for taking office, Mr. Obama will try to persuade the president-elect to honor what his aides call a “tradition” of preserving executive actions implemented by the departing chief executive. “There is a tradition, particularly with regard to executive agreements of successive presidents preserving some element of continuity,” said White...

Obamacare premiums are going through the roof, which is one of the main problems plaguing President ObamaÂ’s heath care law. Donald Trump has taken a swipe at the deductibles from the plans offered under the bill, saying theyÂ’re so high that youÂ’d need to get hit by a Komatsu tractor in order benefit from the law. With Obamacare falling apart, more Americans are opting to pay the penalty to remain uninsured since itÂ’s more economical to take a risk than pay monthly premiums that are simply torpedoing home budgets. Health insurance companies werenÂ’t expecting to cover this many claims and...

At Monday’s press briefing, a reporter asked White House spokesman Josh Earnest if Barack Obama will move to Canada or New Zealand if Donald Trump is elected president. “He’s working very hard to make sure that nobody has to move — has to leave the country as a result of an electoral outcome that the president doesn’t support,” Earnest responded. The reporter was serious, asking Earnest three times about Obama’s comfort level if Trump wins. …

Josh Earnest, Hillary Spokesperson makes a joke that falls flat (on his face) during press conference today. He completely dismisses the idea of a pre-debate drug test with a comment about Trump "sniffing his way through the debates." Lower than snakes belly retort that shows why the press pool hates Hillary and probably will not love covering her. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/10/17/whs_earnest_candidate_who_snorted_his_way_through_the_debates_is_accusing_the_other_candidate_of_taking_drugs.html

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that the fight against the Islamic State is "just a war of narratives." President Barack Obama's spokesman echoed the president's habit of lifting up Muslim-Americans when terrorism strikes in the Unites States while discussing the bombing in New York on Saturday, which may have been the result of a lone wolf attack.
