White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that the fight against the Islamic State is "just a war of narratives."

President Barack Obama's spokesman echoed the president's habit of lifting up Muslim-Americans when terrorism strikes in the Unites States while discussing the bombing in New York on Saturday, which may have been the result of a lone wolf attack.

Yeah, those were “narratives” that leapt from the upper floors of the Twin Towers on 9/11.

I wouldn’t piss on you if you were in fire Josh Earnest.

Not only did this prove the liberal elites claim that the terrorists striking here in the USA are “home grown” and NOT refugees, but I wonder if these elites know the meaning of the word “recruiter”?????

Yeah, those of us who voted for Jorge Busho for two terms. GW is the one who refused to do the right thing and went so far as to conceal the truth re the saudi involvement. O’Dummy is merely continuing what gw started.

“This so-called `Battle of the Bulge’ is just a matter of narratives. President Roosevelt has advised General McAuliffe to retract his response to the Germans, which is nothing short of inflammatory, provocative and counter productive to a peaceful resolution of this matter, and negotiate a solution less environmentally impactful and ... “ blah blah blah

The islamic terrorists will use both home grown and imported. The modern asymmetrical anonymous world of internet based recruitment makes it easy for the muzzies to use both. Islam is the one thing they all have in common and that's enough.

Reminds me of the general in “Elena” who said that the Greek civil war was a “conflict of ideas” not realizing he was talking to the son of the woman he had murdered during his “conflict of ideas”.

No, it’s a war of bombs and bullets. We need to kill terrorist thugs faster than ISIS can recruit them. The faster we kill them, the less benefit little thugs will see in a career path with only a very brief future. Plus, if we kill them before they learn any terrorist skills, they will be less able to murder women and children. I see that as a positive outcome.

The winning narrative is that ISIS terrorists are dying so fast that ISIS leaders cannot control any territory, pay their supporters, or even afford to feed sex slaves for their fighters. I like that narrative.
