Freepers, this is a big deal. Those of you with a legal background. Appreciate your thoughts. Foundedonpurpose Supreme Court Refused to Hear the Brunson Case As Expected Blog/Rule of Law Posted Feb 22, 2023 by Martin Armstrong COMMENT: Marty, you understand markets and the legal system. You were right again. The Supreme Court rejected the Brunson case. KQ REPLY: As I wrote before, this was an interesting argument, but it will be even more “earth-shattering if the Supreme Court actually takes the case and rules on the validity of taking an oath of office.” How can you support, and defend,...

Virtually all Americans believed, until the inauguration of Donald Trump as president on January 20, 2017, that when someone became president, he could begin to implement his agenda. Certainly Old Joe Biden’s handlers have done so with a vengeance since they took over; but when Trump became president, he immediately began to encounter resistance from entrenched members of the government bureaucracy who refused to do as he ordered. Some worked actively against Trump, while the establishment media assured us that these self-appointed “deep state” saboteurs were the courageous guardians of “our democracy.” At his South Carolina rally Saturday night, Trump...

A former associate of Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) has reportedly provided investigators years worth of online records as part of their investigation into allegations that Gaetz had sex with a minor and violated sex trafficking laws. Sources close to the matter told ABC News that former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg has provided prosecutors with a multitude of Venmo and Cash App transactions, thousands of photos and access to social media accounts. In May, Greenberg pleaded guilty to six federal crimes, including sex trafficking a minor. In June, a judge approved a guilty plea deal for Greenberg in exchange...

What are the odds of a coronavirus pandemic randomly occurring naturally within miles of a lab that creates a juiced-up coronavirus, and that stores more coronavirus samples than any place in the world? Government authorities in the U.S., including Dr. Fauci, after unequivocally denying that COVID-19 could have escaped a lab, now conveniently say they are open to the idea of investigating the origins of the virus. Before they were called out, the original claim that COVID-19 originated in a market in Wuhan was the popular explanation for Dr. Fauci and his friends. But the World Health Organization's initial investigation...

I’m not anti-mask, per se. There, I said it. If you’ve been reading my rants, er, columns on the topic these past few months, you might get another idea though, and I understand that. It certainly SEEMS like I’m anti-mask, and you’d be forgiven for thinking that was the case. That doesn’t mean that I like wearing them, of course. They’re uncomfortable and stifling and, frankly, disgusting. Even so, I WOULD wear them, when necessary, if the arguments the mask-proponents used to con almost the entire world into accepting and even mandating the practice were actually, well, true. Ah, but...

Wearing a face mask to prevent the spread of the coronavirus has become a controversial topic in the U.S., with some people even resorting to violence over it. A report has discovered why mask requirements are such sticking point for some: They think these mandates infringe on their rights. The report, released by the Brookings Institution on Monday, surveyed nearly 5,900 Americans between early June and early July about their mask usage in public. The researchers discovered that 20 percent of those who participated in the survey were not wearing masks in public to stop the spread of the virus,...

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla warned on Tuesday that people who don't take the Covid-19 vaccine will become a "weak link" that allows the coronavirus to spread. Bourla, whose company is in late-stage testing for a potential inoculation, said he understands the public's concerns about vaccines, which are being developed in record time. He said Pfizer will only request authorization from the Food and Drug Administration after data shows that its vaccine is safe and effective. But he also said people who decide against taking the vaccine once available "will not only affect their lives." They "will affect the lives of...

States may need to lock back down if coronavirus cases spike, the CDC is warning. “If cases begin to go up again, particularly if they go up dramatically, it’s important to recognize that more mitigation efforts such as what were implemented back in March may be needed again,” Jay Butler, the agency’s deputy director for infectious diseases, told reporters Friday. However, the second wave of lockdowns could be accomplished on a local, rather than state-wide level, Butler said.

Moreover, while Fauci and Redfield are specialists in epidemics, Trump’s portfolio goes far beyond that. He is chief of state, head of government and commander in chief, responsible for the security and defense of the nation. His portfolio is broader and deeper than those of Fauci and Redfield. In the first hours of the Normandy invasion, Gen. Dwight Eisenhower must have been rightly alarmed about the high U.S. casualties on Omaha Beach. But he also had to concern himself with the failure to capture the Port of Caen to bring ashore the armor to stop any German counterattack that might...

President Donald Trump told major league sports commissioners in a conference call that he believes the NFL season should start as scheduled in September, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Saturday. On the call, Trump also said he wants fans back in sporting venues by August and September, according to the report. The August and September dates correspond with the kickoff to both college football and the NFL seasons. Medical experts have not yet publicly said if that timeline is a viable one. LSU football is supposed to open its 2020 season on Sept. 5 against UT San...

The following account is from a former inmate of the Metropolitan Correction Center in lower Manhattan, where Jeffrey Epstein was found unresponsive Saturday, and declared dead at a hospital of an apparent suicide. The ex-convict, who spoke to The Post’s Brad Hamilton and Bruce Golding on the condition of anonymity, spent several months in the 9 South special housing unit for high-profile prisoners awaiting trial — like Epstein. There’s no way that man could have killed himself. I’ve done too much time in those units. It’s an impossibility. Between the floor and the ceiling is like eight or nine feet....

Biggs is not referring to a national emergency declaration. Rather, as Conservative Review’s Daniel Horowitz has written, he’s talking about a section of law that would permit President Trump to construct roads and fences “to block drug smuggling corridors across international boundaries of the United States.” From Horowitz: [Trump’s] authority is even stronger in the field of combating drug smuggling, even without the declared health crisis. 10 U.S.C. § Section 284 allows the secretary of defense, upon request from federal or state law enforcement dealing with drug trafficking, and in conjunction with the secretary of state, to “provide support for...
