Now that he has announced his retirement from Congress, top ranked U.S. Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., has suddenly lost faith in Obamacare, saying he doesn’t think “we’re going to get enough young people signing up to make this bill work.” Moran, who announced earlier this month that he will not seek reelection, criticized Obamacare in an interview with American University Radio, according to The Daily Caller. “I’m afraid that the millennials, if you will, are less likely to sign up,” Moran said last week. “I think they feel more independent, I think they feel a little more invulnerable than prior...

Jim Moran said: "I'd like to see him get into the race." "He won the popular vote in 2000, and I think he's even stronger and more committed," Moran said yesterday on C-SPAN's Washington Journal. "But you know, he's got his own life and it's his decision to make." A spokesman for Gore had no immediate reaction to Moran's comments. Moran is not known as one of the most...

9-13-04 - Jim McDermott Mr. MCDERMOTT. Mr. Speaker, in the one minute it will take to read these remarks, an Uzi can fire off 1,700 rounds.
