I’ve previously written about how celebrities are ruining Twitter with their political and hate speech. For my last post of 2018, I’ve compiled a special list of Hollywood has-beens who are desperately trying to remain relevant despite Hollywood careers that are well beyond their expiration dates. 10. Rosie O'Donnell I guess she’s a celebrity… or was. I don’t know. She’s been in a few movies you’ve probably seen. The only two that come to mind are Sleepless in Seattle and A League of Their Own… but for sure, she had a briefly successful stint in Hollywood in the 1990s as...

“As the son of two working parents, there were plenty of dinnertimes when a bucket of chicken and all the fixins saved the day,” Alexander said in a press release. “It’s been fun to combine my personal love for KFC with my sitcom experience into a new take on the role of Colonel Sanders.” Along with the news, KFC also debuted two of its newest sitcom-themed commercial campaigns starring Alexander, during which he seemingly solves a variety of household problems with buckets of chicken. In a second 15-second ad, Alexander's "Colonel" comes to the aid of a family in need...

It’s not surprising that the majority of actors and actresses in Hollywood are liberals. But the number of celebrities who go out of their way to support abortion rights and, in particular, Planned Parenthood, through PSAs, speaking engagements and financial donations is shocking. Here are 42 celebrities who have publicly supported the abortion giant. Celebrities Know What’s Good for Women — Just Let Them Tell You Many celebrities have starred in sanctimonious public service announcements for the abortion giant. Actress Scarlett Johansson starred in this 2011 PSA, where she called a bill to defund Planned Parenthood “disastrous.” Before the 2012...

We know we’re not famous actors who earn a living playing make-believe, but would it be OK if just for today we pretended all of this righteous outrage was inspired by the Kermit Gosnell trial?

Piers Morgan has continued with his gun-bashing. Here's his latest, Deport Me?Morgan makes a number of huge mistakes and misrepresentations in his assault, not unlike Jason Alexander's rant against the AR-15.Here are key points where Morgan (and other gun control nuts) go unbelievably wrong: [M]y anger turned to blind rage when I saw the reaction to this hideous massacre in America. … Sales of the specific weapon used, an AR-15 military-style assault rifle, rocketed …. And … Brownells said it sold more high-capacity bullet magazines in three days than it normally did in three-and-a-half years. What is behind this apparently...

Breaking news during tonight's edition of Piers Morgan Tonight: On the heels of Morgan's fiery interview with Alex Jones, the man who started the petition to deport the CNN host, the White House addressed the petition. Borrowing from Harry Potter, this video parody titled "Rovemort And The Sorcerer's Stonewall" and starring Jason Alexander was released today by the Campaign For America's Future. I wish I could say it was clever or fun, but it's so heavy-handed about Rush Limbaugh, Brit Hume, Trent Lott, Mitch McConnell, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Dubya that even a liberal like me finds it off-putting. (Surely Hollywood can help progressives put together more subtle and arresting footage than this!) The video is part of a national campaign to "expose the right's strategy of obstructing reform while attacking the 'do-nothing [Democrat-controlled]...

Terrorism’s American Gigolo: Richard Gere’s Palestinian Bedfellows January 5, 2005 By Debbie Schlussel Printer Friendly When Richard Gere played an “American Gigolo” in 1980, who knew he’d actually become one, twenty-five years later? This week, Gere is pulling tricks for jihadist Palestinian Johns supporting terror. Gere’s not just claiming to speak for “the entire world” in ads for Sunday’s Palestinian elections. He’s co-starring with two Palestinian terrorism supporters, Sheikh Taissir Rajab Al-Tamimi and Atallah (a/k/a Theodosios) Hanna. In an ad sponsored by “One Voice” (more on that group, below), Gere appeals to Palestinian voters: “Hi, I’m Richard Gere, and I’m...
