<p>A Bay Area rapper was shot and killed Monday night in East Oakland, according to police and a media report.</p>
<p>Dominic Newton, 37, better known by his stage name “The Jacka,” was killed in the shooting at 94th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard about 8:15 p.m., KPIX-TV reported.</p>
