GAZA, Aug 7, 2002 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- Israeli troops killed on Wednesday the son of a prominent Islamic Hamas leader in Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources and eyewitnesses reported. The witnesses said Israeli snipers stationed at the Jewish settlement of Gani Tal fired at Husam Ahmed Nemer Hamdan, 27, from a distance of 600 meters as he stooped on the roof of their house.
