Congrats to the Rice Owls, who continued this year's tradition of Texas teams ousting California ones in unfrozen sports. Rice U.(of Houston) defeats Stanford 14-2, the most lopsided championship game in CWS history, winning the series 2-1. Coach Wayne Graham can add the division I crown to his numerous titles his team earned at San Jacinto Junior College(also in Texas).
