Meteorologists are monitoring as a system with the potential for damaging winds and severe thunderstorms is moving into the region Wednesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued multiple advisories for the region, adding Wednesday's forecast hasn't been seen before in mid-December and is unprecedented. Police in Reno went house to house in the middle of the night, pounding on doors and telling residents they had to evacuate as a roughly 400-acre blaze raged in rough terrain, destroyed homes and injured some people. At least one man is dead, after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest while evacuating. Nearly 10,000 people from the edge of the city have been evacuated from the path of the massive wildfire and the local fire chief said the blaze could rage through Saturday.

Pretty amazing video of high winds playing havoc with a couple of window washers that were either brave (or foolish) enough to attempt some window cleaning today in downtown Denver.
