I have a hypothetical question: should Matt Drudge replace Dan Rather? I realize those would be rather small shoes to fill (hah!) considering Dan is what, 5' 2"? If not, why not? If so, what would have to change to make something like this even remotely possible? And finally, would Drudge have to cut back on posting articles about three-headed chickens and monster hurricanes to take the top spot? Or would we now see him out there in a rain slicker next hurricane season, lashed to a lamppost and interviewing a two-headed calf about the prospects for surviving the storm?
