Israel has ordered the closure of Al Jazeera in the country, a move the Qatar-based news network called a “criminal act.” Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a post on X: “The government headed by me unanimously decided: the incitement channel Al Jazeera will be closed in Israel.” Ofir Gendelman, the prime minister’s spokesperson to the Arab world, said Sunday that the decision would be “implemented immediately.” In a post on X, Gendelman said that the network’s “broadcast equipment will be confiscated, the channel’s correspondents will be prevented from working, the channel will be removed from cable and satellite...

The story of what happened after Oct 7 has played out in the international media as a montage of bombs and rubble. And while Israel’s campaign against the Hamas perpetrators of the horrific massacres, rapes and kidnappings is an important part of the story, it is not the only one. From the men who grabbed their guns and drove south in the hours after the attack began to the warehouses quickly set up to provide food and clothing for the hundreds of thousands of Israelis who were forced to leave their homes after the attacks from Gaza, inside Israel, the...

Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz blasted former US President Barack Obama after Obama called for an end to “Israeli occupation”. Link to Maria Bartaromo interview on X (twitter) Speaking to Fox Business in an interview, Dershowitz said, "I think he always had a deep hatred of Israel in his heart. He hid it very well. He called me to the Oval Office and he said to me, 'Alan, you've known me for a long time. You know I have Israel's back.' I didn't realize he meant to paint a target on it." ....He should apologize, but he won't." Dershowitz’s...

More than 100 Hamas terrorists reportedly surrendered on Saturday in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Maybe "strip" was also the right word, since the IDF was making them strip to make sure that they didn't have any weapons or bombs on their person. We reported on this before, but now even more terrorists surrendered Saturday, and what those people who raised the white flag are revealing is helping the IDF.N12 News shared the clip of the men standing in line across a rubble-strewn street in Jabaliya as IDF soldiers trained automatic weapons on them and ordered them to...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hezbollah not to initiate a third Lebanon war with Israel, hours after the Iranian proxy group guided missile attack killed a 60-year-old Israeli man in northern Israel. “If Hezbollah chooses to start an all-out war, then it will single-handedly turn Beirut and South Lebanon, not far from here, into Gaza and Khan Yunis. We are determined to bring victory, and we will do it with your help,” Netanyahu said. He spoke during a visit to the IDF’s Northern Command Headquarters together with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi and the head...

A source within the Israeli government told Breitbart News on Tuesday that U.S. President Joe Biden’s pressure would lead to Hamas surviving the war intact, rather than allowing Israel to destroy Hamas or remove its military and governing capabilities. In recent days, the White House has acknowledged that Israel intends to continue fighting Hamas after the current “pause,” sought by Biden to allow the release of hostages, ends later this week. “The Israelis have been pretty clear that once the pauses are complete and the hostage exchanges [sic] are over that they intend to continue their military operations against Hamas,”...

One of the best-known stories from the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war is the story of Rachel Edri—the Israeli grandmother from the city of Ofakim in the Southern District of Israel, who was held hostage by five terrorists whom she stalled by cooking for them; giving them cookies, pineapple, Coke Zero, and coffee; and chatting with them until she and her husband were rescued, 19 hours later. The entire world heard of this woman’s level-headedness and resourcefulness, which saved her life. The beautiful and moving narrative of this quintessential Jewish mother, who knows that the best way to keep someone...

Iran’s IRGC leader gave a speech providing insight into the Iran regime’s prophecies about Israel and the US being defeated. In a new speech Saturday by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps head Hossein Salami, he claimed that the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas is a step towards the defeat of Israel and the US. He made the speech in Tehran during a large anti-Israel rally. The comments by Salami predicting the defeat of Israel and the US are typical of his speeches. However, the October 7 Hamas attack and massacre has created a new drive by Iran to carry...

Months ago, I was asked to give a lecture at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention. It was a surprising invitation for a number of reasons. First, I am not a lawyer. Second: I am not a member of the Federalist Society—the libertarian and conservative legal organization. (If the name rings a bell it’s probably because you’ve heard of it in the context of the hearings of any of the conservative justices who currently sit on the court.) Third: if you look at the people who previously gave this particular lecture—Supreme Court Justices, attorneys general, people like Bill Barr, Don...

We all remember the holdout from the Los Angeles Times who refused to accept the notion that Hamas had beheaded babies during its attack on innocent civilians in Israel — he apparently would settle for nothing less than video of the beheadings to believe it was anything but Israeli propaganda. The IDF has held a couple of screenings for journalists of video taken by Hamas terrorists on October 7. Israeli actor Gal Gadot arranged for a screening in Los Angeles, which was crashed by Hamas sympathizers … the same ones tearing down posters of kidnapped children. Marc Rod of Jewish...

French President Emmanuel Macron has gone wobbly on his support of Israel in its war against Hamas. He went so far as to claim that Israel is killing women and children, as though deliberately doing so. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu didn’t appreciate that. Netanyahu didn’t appreciate hearing Macron’s words as he broke with the other Western countries supporting Israel in the war against Hamas. Macron called for a pause, to be followed up with a ceasefire. He called for the ceasefire – the first Western leader to do so – at a hastily called conference with world leaders...

Since the horrific attacks by Hamas on October 7, we have watched in dismay as thousands and thousands of college students, faculty, and staff have rallied, marched and chanted, calling for the overthrow of the state of Israel, and for genocide against its Jewish residents. (For the benefit of those unaware of the euphemism in the chant “From the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free,” this actually means “…shall be free of Jews.”) We have watched in recent years as the Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions (BDS) movement spread across higher education (and big business, and Wall Street too, for that matter),...

Harrowing video shows Palestinian civilians being shot at — apparently by Hamas snipers — while trying to flee a pediatric cancer hospital where terrorists have barricaded themselves against the ongoing ground assault by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.Footage posted on X Friday shows families walking onto a side street waving white flags before gunfire is heard, sending the crowd scrambling for shelter while a child can be heard crying.Media intelligence agency Storyful confirmed that the video was recorded at the al-Nasr Pediatric Hospital based on Google Maps images, but was unable to say whether the terror group or Israeli...

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is known around the Big Apple for many things, but testicular fortitude hasn’t been one of them, until Saturday. Adams gave a brief speech where he stepped up and went to bat for Israel at a time when many leftists are screaming insanities about Israel launching a “disproportionate response” to Hamas’ recent savagery, though I can’t personally think of a response that could match the depravity of mass rapes, people being burned alive, and children massacred. “Thank you. Thank you. And I am not going to be long. I’m going to give you four...

Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant commented, upon completing an operational situation assessment: "Hamas has lost control of Gaza - terrorists are fleeing south, civilians are looting Hamas bases." Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant recently completed a situation assessment during which he emphasized the progress of IDF forces operating in Gaza. Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant added: "I have recently completed another situation assessment. IDF troops are working according to plan and are fulfilling their missions precisely as a result of the cooperation between air and ground forces, using precise intelligence.' "Hamas isn't capable of stopping the IDF. The IDF is...

‘I’ve been a left-winger all my life. I don’t believe in violence. I always wanted co-existence,’ says the British-Israeli artist. ‘Even in our darkest hours, I told my children that in Gaza there were mothers like me, and children like them, and they are not the devil. Now I realise how naive I was. ‘There is still a part of me that wants peace, of course I do. But these monsters – Hamas – have to be defeated. And the world has to help us. ‘What they did happened once. It happened to us. But it could happen to you,...

Democrats across Congress are calling on President Biden to allow Palestinians entry into the U.S. on humanitarian grounds as war drags on in Gaza. Senate Judiciary Chair Dick Durbin, D-Ill., together with Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Was., led a letter of 103 colleagues to the president asking him to grant the Palestinian territories Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and/or authorize Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Palestinians already living in the U.S. The TPS program allows those from war-torn or crisis-wracked countries to legally live and work in the U.S., but does not give them permanent residency. It allows...

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters descended on Bryant Park Thursday afternoon and later occupied the lobby of the New York Times building as they called for the elimination of the Jewish state and accused President Biden of backing “genocide.” The crowds of demonstrators labeled Israel a “terrorist state” while chanting “From river to the sea, Palestine will be free” – a phrase known to call for the eradication of Israel — as they marched through midtown on Thursday evening. The large rally is the latest in a series of fiery protests to engulf the Big Apple since the Oct. 7 Hamas...

The White House maintained Tuesday that it doesn’t believe Israeli forces should reoccupy Gaza following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu comments that the country will have the “overall security responsibility” in Gaza for an “indefinite period” after the war ends. "The president still believes that a reoccupation of Gaza by Israeli forces is not good. It’s not good for Israel; not good for the Israeli people,” said National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on “CNN This Morning". One of the conversations that Secretary (Antony) Blinken has been having in the region is what does post-conflict Gaza look like? What does...

Hamas’s armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, said Saturday that 60 Israeli hostages have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7. Spokesman Abu Obeida said after search operations, "still there are 23 bodies (of hostages) lost under the rubble." "It seems we won't be able to reach them due to the ongoing brutal aggression by the occupation on Gaza," Abu Obeida added. Al-Qassam Brigades said in an earlier statement that it is holding 200 - 250 hostages, including soldiers and civilians. The Israeli army said there are 242 Israelis held in Gaza by the Palestinian resistance group.
