London, 19 November: In a GWPF video released today, Dr. Susan Crockford, a Canadian wildlife expert, provides new evidence that the 2019 Netflix documentary film series, ‘Our Planet’, withheld facts behind the controversial walrus story it promoted as evidence of climate change. If there was ever any doubt that polar bears, not climate change, were the cause of walrus falling to their deaths from a rocky cliff in Siberia a few years ago, new evidence presented here seals the deal: a Russian photographer has released independent video of the event that clearly shows polar bears driving walrus over the cliff...
  • PATRICK MOORE: SHOULDN'T WE CELEBRATE CARBON DIOXIDE?

**SNIP** You heard it here. “Human emissions of carbon dioxide have saved life on Earth from inevitable starvation and extinction due to lack of CO2”. To use the analogy of the Atomic Clock, if the Earth were 24 hours old we were at 38 seconds to midnight when we reversed the trend towards the End Times. If that isn’t good news I don’t know what is. You don’t get to stave off Armageddon every day. I issue a challenge to anyone to provide a compelling argument that counters my analysis of the historical record and the prediction of CO2 starvation...

The U.K.’s Climate Change Act of 2008 will cost the average British household about $13,703 by the year 2030, according to a new report by The Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF). The levies, taxes and subsidies associated with the Climate Change Act cost the average British household $415 in 2014 alone, which will rise to an estimated $791 annually by 2020 and $1,110 each year by 2030, according to the report. The total costs of the policy will add up to three times the annual British National Health Service (NHS) budget. GWPF’s report says that the government only considered about...
  • £120 billion gamble on wind turbines:Green energy 'ten times dearer than power stations'

A rush to green energy by spending billions covering much of the countryside with wind turbines would be an expensive blunder, a damning study has found. Professor Gordon Hughes of Edinburgh University said the massive programme will cost consumers £120billion by 2020 through higher bills. This is almost ten times more than the £13billion it would cost to generate the same amount of electricity from efficient gas-fired power stations, according to the leading energy and environment economist. Professor Hughes said families are being forced to subsidise wind farms through their bills. Meanwhile business energy costs are also being driven up,...
  • Climategate reaches the British House of Lords

House of Lords, 8 December 2009: Lord Turnbull: My Lords, on first reading the Committee on Climate Change’s latest progress report, I found it an impressive document. It was broad in scope and very detailed. But the more I dug into it the more troubled I became. Below the surface there are serious questions about the foundations on which it has been constructed. There are questions in four areas-the framework created by the Climate Change Act 2008, the policy responses at EU and UK level, the estimate of costs and finally the scientific basis on which the whole scheme of...
