BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: You know, I could be wrong about this, but here's Bill Kristol, who is saying that Romney... Let me get this quote in front of me. I always put this stuff the bottom of the Stack. Bill Kristol says Romney was "stupid and arrogant," and every Democrat under the sun is retweeting it. On the tape, talking about the 47%, Kristol says Romney was "stupid and arrogant." Every Democrat under the sun's retweeting that all over the place, Donna Brazile and others. Texas Gov. Rick Perry's campaign has gotten its court date in Virginia. U.S. District Judge John Gibney Jr. has set a hearing on the validity of Virginia's primary ballot for Jan 13th. Before that hearing, the judge is requiring that the Perry campaign reach out to the other Republican candidates, to see if they would be interested in joining either side of the suit. Perry Communications director Ray Sullivan says the campaign will "respect and abide by that order." In fact, Sullivan says Perry would "welcome other candidate involvement." Virginia has some of the country's toughest ballot requirements. Only two...

Nevada's GOP contributed to disarray in the Republican primary calendar when it moved up the date of the state's caucus to January 14. The move could push New Hampshire's primary up into early- or mid-December, Secretary of State Bill Gardner said in a letter posted to his website Wednesday. Former Utah Gov. Jon...

....As a public service, I took a pile of these literary works on vacation and dug in. (Now you know one more difference between Washington policy wonks and normal Americans.) And here's what I found: In their own telling, all these politicians are fiercely patriotic, devoted to their families and humble. .....Then there's Perry, who's almost as angry as Gingrich. "We are tired of being told how much salt to put on our food, what kind of cars we can drive, what kind of guns we can own, what kind of prayers we can say … [and] what doctor we...
