BOSTON -- Couples filling out marriage certificates in Boston will no longer be required to identify their sex or gender under a new policy adopted by the city Tuesday. “Our fundamental charge in public service is ensuring that our services and opportunities reach everyone, and that starts with affirming and supporting constituents of all identities,” Mayor Michelle Wu said in a statement. “Boston must continue to work to dismantle the historic inequities and injustices that persist. This update to Boston marriage licenses is a huge step in building a city that is truly inclusive," she added.

An April 5 article in The Economist highlights what many conservatives and skeptics have been saying for years about gender transitioning in minors. The piece argues American health associations that specialize in transgenderism are making suggestions about trans-identifying youth that are not grounded in sound science. The Economist article claims the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) has analyzed the psychological effects of puberty blockers, “for its part,” but the study allegedly did not find high-quality evidence. The Endocrine Society (ES) focused on the side effects of puberty blockers rather than studying any kind of “mental improvement” brought about...

Sigh. A man known as the “Human Ken Doll” has now decided he has always been a Barbie deep, deep down, because of course he has. On the one hand, this man is, like so many others in this absolutely crazy era of anti-science, defying his very biology by trying to live his life as a member of the opposite sex which, no matter how much plastic surgery he gets or makeup he wears, he will never be. On the other hand…is there any better example of how laughable the idea that you can change your gender with plastic surgery?...

Humans are exposed to far more hormone-disrupting chemicals than previously thought, according to a new study. In a study published today, Dr Hunt reveals the new tool shows the 'safe' limit of BPA stipulated by the US Food and Drug Administration is flawed. In fact, it is 44 times higher than what Dr Hunt considers safe. 'What it comes down to is that the conclusions federal agencies have come to about how to regulate BPA may have been based on inaccurate measurements.' She discovered the way that the BPAs - sometimes referred to as 'gender-bending chemicals - interfered with the...

A student accused of opening fire at a Colorado school reportedly told investigators that he targeted peers who made fun of him for his gender identity, court documents show. Alec McKinney, 16, and Devon Erickson, 18, allegedly decided to carry out the shooting after exchanging messages on social media the day before the May 7 attack at STEM School Highlands Ranch near Denver, the documents show. The shooting resulted in the death of 18-year-old Kendrick Ray Castillo; eight others were injured. The police records, which were unsealed Thursday, show McKinney telling officers in an interview that he intended to “shoot...

Arnold Schwarzenegger may be a more convincing actor than people think. In the 1994 film Junior, he played a doctor who tests a fertility drug on himself and becomes pregnant. Now, according to a Discovery Health Channel survey conducted by Decima Research Inc, one in five Canadians believe it will one day be possible for men to give birth. DESIGNER BABIES The survey was commissioned to coincide with the channel's "Medical Mystery Month."
