Researchers across the United States and beyond who study transgender health are learning that their National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants are being abruptly canceled. Two such killed grants were revealed on Monday and Science has now identified another 14 focused on transgender human health that, on 28 February, were terminated by way of a letter from NIH saying each project “no longer effectuates agency priorities.”
...[T]he agency placed seven employees on administrative leave this week—all of whom had formerly worked in NIH’s defunct Sexual and Gender Minority Research Office (SGMRO). They had been reassigned under former President Joe Biden’s administration to other topics in an apparently futile attempt to protect them...
Yesterday in a press release, the White House identified six “egregious” NIH grants totaling $8,290,053, most of which involved giving rodents hormones to study their effects on diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and asthma, although it didn’t explicitly say they had been canceled. But the president’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said in a social media post it had killed a total of seven grants involving “transgender experiments on animals.” It only noted two specific rodent grants, neither of which matches the White House press release list.
Brittany Charlton, an epidemiologist at Harvard University who studies sexual and gender inequity in medicine, says the NIH cancellations will hurt a marginalized transgender community already frightened by the Trump administration’s anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and could in the long run eliminate needed mental and physical health resources. “These cuts are going to have catastrophic effects,” she says. “They’re not only impacting the LGBTQ community, but also scientific integrity and the broader community as well.”
NIH funds more than 400 grants that mention “transgender,” “gender minority,” or “nonbinary” in their abstracts, but only a handful appear to have been terminated so far.

MENGELE WAS A PIKER BY COMPARISON.
Brittany Charlton should be charged with animal cruelty.
I know they’re just mice but you’re ruining an animal for your sick perversion.
All of it fake science and all done to fulfill their perverse desires.
And that stops now!

Brittany Charlton is a sex pervert.
But tell me... where do I find this “marginalized transgender community”...? Do they live in a trailer park outside of New Orleans? A seedy hotel in Boston? Where the hell IS this “community”???
Oh, nevermind, I get it... this “community” is a fantasy made up by Brittany Charlton and other sexual deviants like her.
At one time, faggot and tranny DEVIANTS — or if you prefer, PERVERTS — were forced by their societal peers to live “in the closet”. They HID their perversion from society at large and practiced their sick, satan-driven “sexuality” apart from the rest of NORMAL!!! There, I said it!!! humanity.
How I long to see those NORMAL times return... and the Brittany Charltons of the world to be swept into the dustbin of history along with other FAILED ideologies!
Disney CEO: Binky, get me Creative Development. We’re going to back out of the transgender film project for Mickey and Minnie. I’m seeing some storm clouds on the funding horizon.

That's the gold standard is measuring academic success.
Not how often you've been published, nor how many awards you've won. Those are nice. But the real measure of academic achievement is the ability to obtain grant money.
they were testing the side effects of the hormone treatments used on transgenders including children
shouldnt that have been done already?
They feel pain and fear like everything else alive.
They may be pests at times but this insane crap is just barbaric.
God sees every sparrow fall.
She’ll figure that out one day
They are God’s creatures.

Whoa, that seems awfully extreme. Just because they work there doesn't mean the want to be replumbed.
to other topics in an apparently futile attempt to protect them...
OK, different reassignment that they to to teenage kids.
NIH needs a “permanently barred” list with Brittany being a founding member.
Good. Put the Frankensteins out of business. Do no more harm.
It’s good that NIH exists. Otherwise, where would psycho sadists find jobs? (I’m talking to you, Fauci.)
Snakes gotta eat too.
