Second and third-generation migrant rioters torch schools and assault people, turning education protests into proof that multiculturalism has failed and that Le Pen’s case is strengtheningSchool blockades in France escalated into arson and assaults on staff and emergency services starting on 1 October 2026. Interior Ministry figures recorded nearly 2,000 arrests in a single day following violence in cities including Nantes, Rouen, and Marseille. French intelligence officials reported during a crisis meeting that hard-left politicians helped initiate the school blockades that eventually turned into riots. Marine Le Pen and the Rassemblement National are positioning these events as evidence of the...

It’s not just the violent crime, but their disposition while behind the wheel we have to watch out for. Anecdotal evidence is still evidence—which is then almost always backed up by the data. This morning while driving my son to school, I was behind someone who was driving like a total a-hole. He/she was speeding through the school zones (there’s three schools all on the same half-mile stretch of road), and he/she was absolutely riding the person in front. I made an educated guess, and predicted the driver was… black. And it turned out I was right: the driver was...

In the final quarter of the 20th century, the far-right was primarily associated with antisemitism and racism. By the end of the first quarter of the 21st century, however, its exclusionary rhetoric had increasingly shifted toward immigrants, while its traditional antisemitic positions had, in significant parts of the European radical right, been replaced or reframed through Islamophobic discourse. Zionism and pro-Americanism, once regarded as two major ideological enemies, increasingly became part of its own political identity. The U.S.-Israel alignment that accompanied this sharp paradigm shift contributed to the transformation of the far-right from a marginal movement with limited electoral support...

[Catholic Caucus] Spain awakens for Ceuta and not a single bishop in the squares One thousand squares filled at the same time, a forest of Spanish flags from Cibeles to the Pilar, and a single cry from north to south: “Ceuta is not for sale, Ceuta defends itself.” Nothing like it had been seen since the autumn of 2017, when the separatist challenge brought a seemingly dormant nation into the streets. The Spanish people are slow to react. But when they are put in check, they react. Yesterday they did so again — alone, without their shepherds. There are images a...

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen continues to dominate the field of prospective presidential candidates to replace Emmanuel Macron in next year’s critical election, which is set to define French and European politics for years to come.
