Poll: Are Many Americans Too Dependent on Government?

Freep this cnn poll http://www.cnn.com/ I know, I know, it means nothing. LOL

I'm looking for a few good FReepers to knock around a liberal e-list I belong to. Some of em' could have ghost-written Bin Laden's speech - I kid you not. I've posted an outline of your mission (should you choose to accept) on one of my sites, rather than give a lengthy rundown here. They can't cope with my ONE conservative voice, so I'm interested in seeing how they'll respond to a few more. Will post after-action data here, should there be any. Here's the link again:http://www.estatesalespecialists.com/FR/freep.htmThanks from this VERY happy post-election Texan!

Please go to this site and vote NO: http://www.billoreilly.com/ No doubt the DUers will try and skew this one. It matters because many middle-of-the-road voters actually do watch O'Reilly. So, the results that he reads matter. The poll is on the right-hand side of the page (scroll down a little when you get there).

Please Freep this on line poll. The Portland Oregonian has put up a poll up on their web site and Freepers will be amazed at the unfair and biased manner in which the poll is worded. It appears to me that the Oregonian is going fishing for votes supporting Blix, and rejecting President Bush. Click Here to VoteVote by scrolling down and looking on the left. The poll is set forth in small print ... Living in Portland is like living in Paris. Help! I am surrounded by wild-eyed surrender monkeys who do not eat cheese and will attack violently...

Something strange happened during the 2000 Gore-Bush election fiasco you may have missed.

CNN, which was running 24-hour special election coverage, hosted a program with conservative columnist Bob Novak shortly after the disputed election results were returned. Novak was adamant that Al Gore should quit trying to steal the election and concede. To bolster his point, he brought up the results of CNN.com's public-opinion poll "Should Al Gore concede?" Poll results showed that a full 89 percent of the thousands of people who had visited CNN.com and voted had agreed -- Gore should give up the ghost.
