Good Morning! I'm wishing to open up a new email account and depart Gmail, basically because of Google policies. Does anyone know of a secure, FREE, email service? Many thanks in advance.

I've been a yahoo e-mail user for over 15yrs and Yahoo has come up with a new policy for users to be implemented sooner than later. I realize that all communications are now being scanned & archived by the fed gov't but I do feel Yahoo is going above & beyond and really pushing for advertising dollars. It burns me,too,& that's why I want out. I'm not partial to gmail or outlook. Does anyone have a suggestion for a free email service that is reputable and has a modicum of privacy? I would appreciate your comments and suggetions. Thanks!
