  • VIDEO: Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy Make Their Own “Dukes of Hazzard,” It’s Going Viral

The hubbub over the Charleston, S.C., church shooting has, somewhat inexplicably, ended in a 30-year-old TV show about two backwoods brothers jumping a Dodge Charger over innumerable rivers being cancelled. That’s right, “The Dukes of Hazzard” is now being pulled off of TV stations because of the Confederate flag on the roof of the car. If you didn’t see this coming, don’t worry — neither did most sane people. Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy are certainly pretty sane, but they’ve got the kind of wit that drives liberals insane. The two of them predicted what was going to...

Editor's Note: Next week, we'll be celebrating National Hunting and Fishing Day across the country. To help spread the word, National Hunting & Fishing Day has had a number of notable celebrities serve as honorary chairman of NHFD. It might be that none of the prior selections have been so unabashedly about the outdoors as this year's honorary chairman, Georgia native son Jeff Foxworthy. For all his extraordinary accomplishments -- best-selling comedy recording artist of all time, Grammy nominee, popular radio show host, best-selling author, star of hit comedy tours, television series and movies, plus host of a new hit...

The family of a high school sophomore has filed a suit seeking to force school officials to allow the girl to wear clothing with Confederate flag images. The federal lawsuit was filed Thursday by the North Carolina-based Southern Legal Resource Center, a Confederate heritage legal advocacy group. Candice Hardwick, 15, said she wants to wear the Confederate emblem to pay tribute to an ancestor who fought for the South in the Civil War. Latta High School officials say the symbol, which many people consider racially charged, is disruptive in school, and that district policies allow principals to ban such clothing....

Travelers on I-75 have a new diversion to break up those long drives to Florida. “Need a laugh?” beckons a billboard overlooking Exit 212 in Locust Grove, south of Atlanta. The sign directs motorists to the Tanger Outlet Center, where they’ll find the Foxworthy Store — an emporium devoted to Atlanta comedian Jeff Foxworthy and his buddies on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The store’s clever T-shirts, humorous hunting paraphernalia and novelties are built around Foxworthy’s “You might be a redneck” shtick — everything from camouflage camisoles for the ladies to a “redneck jack-in-the-box” that pops out of an outhouse....

If watching Eleanor Clift on "Crossfire" can curdle your milk...an hour after you finished your cereal...you might be a Red Stater. If the thought of Barney Franks as the "head of a Congressional probe", seems biologically plausible...you might be a Red Stater. If you've ever awaken in nauseated horror from a dream where you were re-incarnated as a flea trapped in the bottom of Michael Moore's underwear...you might be a Red Stater. If you believe that Hillary could finally achieve nirvana, if she would just dump Bill and marry Ellen...you might be a Red Stater. If the most frightening thing...

Atlanta's Jeff Foxworthy is having a second life on primetime TV. The WB has given his midsummer sketch comedy show "Blue Collar TV" a 22-episode pick up for the 2004-05 season. Originally, the WB had committed to eight episodes over the summer with another 13 as an option. But ratings were so strong, the network went beyond that, giving them a guaranteed 30 episodes in one calendar year. "The most elusive thing in television these days is a hit comedy and in 'Blue Collar TV' we have one, which made the pick-up an easy decision," said David Janollari, the WB's...

WASHINGTON TWP. -- The Warren Hills Regional School Board will ask the highest court in the land to decide if a "You Might Be a Redneck If" T-shirt should be allowed in school. Board attorney James Broscious will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to rule whether the school has the right to preemptively restrict student speech if it fears that speech could cause trouble. "The administration needs to have the ability to be proactive," Broscious said.In October, a three-judge panel from the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the school couldn't ban clothing or speech unless it had proof...
