The hubbub over the Charleston, S.C., church shooting has, somewhat inexplicably, ended in a 30-year-old TV show about two backwoods brothers jumping a Dodge Charger over innumerable rivers being cancelled.
Thats right, The Dukes of Hazzard is now being pulled off of TV stations because of the Confederate flag on the roof of the car. If you didnt see this coming, dont worry neither did most sane people.
Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy are certainly pretty sane, but theyve got the kind of wit that drives liberals insane. The two of them predicted what was going to happen on the second season of Blue Collar TV almost a decade ago, when they did a skit called The PC Dukes of Hazzard.
The skit was occasioned about the time of the cinematic remake, starring Johnny Knoxville, that guy from Dude, Wheres My Car? and Jessica Simpson. The less said about that, the better, but at least it birthed this hilarious yet sadly prescient bit.
Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy were sitting around in a bar talking about the upcoming remake when Larry exclaims that, Theyre going to take a perfectly good show, theyre gonna politically correct it up, and theyre gonna ruin it, just like they do everything.
Then, it flashed to an imaginary version of The PC Dukes of Hazzard. (H/T Headline Politics)

LMAO!!!!! they nailed it.
Parody to reality in <10 years!
I laughed like a maniac at the deadpan bits.
“Does that make us Jewish?”
“No. It makes us human.”

Why did they have to stick a Jew in there?
Jeff’s never been photographed with the Confederate Flag, a bit ironic really.
I found this skit to be extremely offensive. Y’all think that was funny? Well, I don’t.
There were no Muslims to offer up the moral equivalence of having the spawn of Satan in the skit. They also never mentioned Daisy’s Hispanic, lesbian lover whom Daisy has been trying to marry over the last 2 years, but stopped by the church. As important as the rainbow flag is to our society, it still discriminated against Hispanics. Most importantly, I didn’t see a handicap ramp to get into the “General” Lee. Jumping over the car denigrates those without the ability to.
Overall, it was a mediocre skit at best.
Better save it before Youtube takes it down.
How many feminists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
I thought it was funny! The only thing I would add is instead of Bo and Daisy making out at the end (first cousin thing.. “is that so wrong?) it would be Bo and Luke making out.
Humor, satire and comedy are powerful weapons. We need more of it to expose the lunacy of the left.
Thanks, nice post. I will show it to my guys when they get home from work tonight.
Ping to watch later.
funny video ping

today’s version would probably be a tad different
