The Georgia Senate is set to authorize a “subpoena-powered” investigation into allegations that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis benefited from an affair with a subordinate, tainting her case against former President Donald Trump Fillis carried on a clandestine affair with Nathan Wade, who she hired as a special prosecutor and paid over $700,000 to assist in the Trump investigation.
