Dave Aronberg 8 hours ago Here's my statement regarding the charges against Corey Lewandowski by the Jupiter Police Department: Some media outlets have reported that this office has brought charges against Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager for Donald Trump. These reports are false. Our office has taken no action against Mr. Lewandowski. The matter was investigated and charged by the Jupiter Police Department, not this office. We will await the file from the Jupiter Police Department and make a decision on how to proceed in this matter before Mr. Lewandowski's May 4th arraignment. Law enforcement charges on a probable cause standard....

Donald Trump and his campaign manager are not perfect, nor are their detractors Americans, Israelis, and fair minded people all over the globe should be outraged at the U.S. Secret Service and the mainstream media, not at Donald Trump in America or the Israeli medic who shot the terrorist in Israel. In America, it has already been established that the Secret Service failed to prevent the reporter Michelle Fields from reaching and even touching the Republican frontrunner for the presidency of the United States. So the Secret Service should be condemned, and Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, should be...

Judge Napolitano argued that Michelle Fields is “out of her tree” if she thinks the battery charges will stick against Corey Lewandowski. “ “I know Michelle Fields. I know her well. And I like her. I know Donald Trump. I have a financial relationship with him. I’m not a Trump spokesperson or apologist. I don’t know Corey Lewandowski. I read the complaint. I read her version of events. I read his version of events. I’ve watched the tapes until I’m blue in the face. There’s no criminal behavior here and this should be dismissed. This is not a case for...

But Tuesday afternoon, Trump met with reporters and forcefully claimed the videotape proved Fields had exaggerated her story–with the reporter perhaps posing a threat to Trump himself. Shapiro said those comments weighed on her decision not to appear with Megyn Kelly. “I’ve been encouraging Michelle to come on TV and tell her part of the story since she’s obviously being lied about by Mr. Trump and presumably by the rest of the Trump campaign all day…she didn’t want to be the center of the story.” In a comment at the end of the hour, Kelly noted she had spoken to...

Donald Trump said Wednesday that reporter Michelle Fields would likely have pressed battery charges even if Corey Lewandowski had apologized for grabbing her “because I think she likes it,” implying she wanted the attention. On NBC’s Today, hosts Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie asked Trump to explain his stalwart defense of his campaign manager. Lauer at one point resignedly asked if this whole thing would be moot if Lewandowski had apologized in the first place. “I actually don’t think so,” Trump said. “I think she would have pressed charges anyway because I think she likes it. That’s my opinion. Maybe...

CPAC has come and gone and all we have left are the memories. Interesting sights and sounds were everywhere. Just don’t tell Michelle Fields, who found numerous ways to make it all about her.

Donald Trump says he is considering legal action in response to a recent battery charge against campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. "Frankly, this is not a claim that should have been made," Trump told ABC News' David Muir on "Good Morning America" this morning. Lewandowski was arrested on Tuesday morning for allegedly grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields following a Trump event earlier this month. Trump dismissed the incident as "very minor," saying that "practically nothing happened." "I'm sure there will be a counter-claim coming down the line," Trump added. "Should I file charges against her because she touched my arm...

On Tuesday Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski was charged with battery for brushing up against a reporter at a campaign rally. Video was released that shows the reporter, Michelle Fields, did not flinch, did not change her facial expression, did not even notice Lewandowski during the incident. Fields later charged Lewandowsky with “battery.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) says he would fire Corey Lewandowski over the allegations that he assaulted a female reporter if Lewandowski was Cruz’s campaign manager. During a Republican presidential town hall, host Anderson Cooper questioned Cruz, “As you know, you talked about it a little bit today, Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski charged today with simple battery. If he was your campaign manager, would you ask him to resign?” “Of course,” Cruz replied. “Look it shouldn’t be complicated that members of the campaign staff should not be physically assaulting the press,” he continued. “I mean that shouldn’t be a...

While covering Occupy Wall Street’s “Day of Action” Thursday morning, Daily Caller reporter Michelle Fields and videographer Direna Cousins were struck by NYPD officers as police tried to clear Wall Street of protesters. “The police officers were beating the protesters with batons, and were also beating the media,” Fields told TheDC. “They hit Direna and me with batons. They hit other members of the press in order to get them to move out of the street.”

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump defended his campaign manager as a “very decent man” Tuesday, hours after the staffer was charged with battery in Florida for allegedly grabbing a reporter and yanking her away from Trump. Corey Lewandowski, 42, faces one misdemeanor count of battery as a result of the March 8 incident. He voluntarily went to police headquarters in Jupiter, Fla., and signed paperwork ordering him to appear in court May 4.

Yep....Fields has managed to get Lewandowski charged with misdemeanor battery, which under the law is simply an "unwanted touching." The charge is usually leveled when someone commits a fairly-egregious act of "touching" (like punching you) but does not cause great injury in doing so. That is, while the letter of the law may be met here the clear intent is most-definitely not.Never mind the better question: who was initiating the touching?Second, there is apparently a member of Trump's Secret Service detail that has confirmed that Fields touched Trump twice before Lewandowski intervened and Fields was warned to stop doing so, which she ignored.Further, the video I've seen doesn't clearly support the charge and the...

Note: Despite being a thorough going Cruz supporter I’ve reached out to the Trump campaign and offered to testify against Fields’ credibility now that Fields has doubled down on her implausible claim of assault by Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. I stand ready to turn over all text messages, emails, and phone records with Fields, which confirm that Fields is a serial liar with a history of drama seeking behavior upon request by law enforcement. To quote Nassim Taleb, "if you see fraud and don’t say fraud, then you are a fraud." Looks like we were right to call bullsh_t...

This is a youtube about the author investigating the Fields/Lewandowski hoax. He does a good job of showing lying on the part of the Washington Post cameraman. It seems quite likely the audio was doctored, but he does not investigate that. Link to youtube video

Several journalists have been caught lying to the public and committing fraud, new video footage reveals. Before we begin analyzing the Michelle Fields hoax, watch this video, which surfaced last night. This video clip shows Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski (the man in short cropped hair), moving past Michelle Fields (the handsome woman in glasses).Speaking through her boyfriend’s Twitter account, Michelle Fields claimed that Corey Lewandowski assaulted her. Ben Terris of the Washington Post then wrote an article to boost Michelle Fields’ claim. Read: “Inside Trump’s inner circle, his staffers are willing to fight for him. Literally.” As security parted the...

Just a general announcement... During Special Report tonight, Howie Kurtz showed the Gateway Pundit video of the Fields/Lewandowsky incident and stated that it appeared that Lewandowsky barely brushed Fields as he rushed to keep up with Trump.
