How in the heck do you change your tagline? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I am trying to post in the Katrina section, but the "POST" link does not appear at the top with the other option links. What do I have to do to post there? Please email me at rocketfett@yahoo.com and let me know. I just joined an hour ago. Thank you.

I have a question. A couple times over the last month or so I have logged onto FR and there have been quick links at the top of the page on the current hottest topics. There were maybe a dozen, give or take. Was that just a test thing? If it's a regular thing then how do I get them? I can't find a button or anything but really liked them and would like to have them at the top again.

A little history of how Free Republic has evolved through the years? Would like to know how do the mods work? Is there a training they go through? Besides JR is there a supervisor? How many are their of you? How many shifts are there? Do you work from home?

I've been participating on FR in comments only a short while now but I learn (mostly) quickly (self promotion!). My one delay on the FR Learning Curve is whattheheck does "bttt" mean? I see it often on threads but I don't understand: (1.) what the acronym (please tell me it's an acronym) means; and, (2.) what purrpose it serves to type it. I was digging around in the archives and came upon the original thread. Many of the lists were no longer in use, and many new ones were not on. Farmfriend, the FReeper who first started this, is now banned. I felt that an updated version was long overdue. Help, I'm clueless as usual. How can I view a list of Freepers within a specific state?

When I log into FR my "you have mail" is highlighted. When I click the link, no new mail has been received. It won't reset. How can I get this repaired?

If I click on subscriptions, I only have 1 listed: News\Activism. I have gone through every link that I can find and cannot figure out how to add subscriptions. I literally only have 1 choice. How do I add subscription choices so I can subscribe to them?

Free Republic is a family oriented forum, or at least we try to be classier than your normal everyday run of the mill, slap 'em together forum. I have Bookmarked several threads. But I can't find them. I have searched this site for hours trying to find some help with this. I looked in Public Folder, but the folder contains nothing. Where do Boomarks go to? Is there an FAQ some where, too? I've been here since last year but I never could find any of this stuff.
