This pro-Tim Walz ad is so horrifically bad that my first thought was, it must be a parody. But it is said to have been produced by the same people who made this one, which is real and to which the Walz ad bears some resemblance. I was listening to Glen Beck's opening this morning and he briefly discussed gender roles and brought up Rachel Levine. He referred to Levine as 'her' and it got me thinking, these conservative commentators near always do that. This isn't picking on Beck, they nearly all do it. I see this as the verbal equivalent of 'bending the knee.' I know people do it out of a sense of kindness, like giving stuffed animals to members of MS-13 at the border. I think it is unhelpful.
