CBS is setting up an NCAA Tournament game plan should the U.S.-Iraq conflict heat up in mid-March. CBS would shift into coverage of the war and move the tournament to one of its cable corporate siblings in the Viacom family. Among the siblings are TNN, MTV and Nickelodeon. All are available to approximately 81 percent of the country. The most likely home would be TNN (The National Network), CBS Sports boss Sean McManus said this week. Despite a report that CBS executives had considered blocking politically outspoken rockers, the network said last night it would not pull the plug on anyone protesting a war against Iraq.
