Philadelphia, PA (AHN) - The sign outside of a local Philly eatery is causing tourist double takes. Crabby Dick's uses sexual innuendo in its name, as well as in messages posted under its marquis sign to attract the attention of visitors. Tourist Lauri Ritz says she wishes Crabby's would keep their messages more family-friendly, while owner John Buchheist says they are intended to make passers-by laugh. Buchheist says the signs are good for sales, as business usually goes up 20 to 30 percent when the double-entendre are posted.
