Tired of having to live your sex life online during lockdown? You’re in luck. Government coronavirus expert Dr. Anthony Fauci says that heartsick isolationists can hook up with asymptomatic Tinder matches in real life — but, like love, it involves some risk. The 79-year-old immunologist dropped the unorthodox dating tip in a Tuesday interview on Snapchat’s “Good Luck America.” Toward the end of the taped segment, Fauci was asked: “If you’re swiping on a dating app like Tinder, or Bumble or Grindr, and you match with someone that you think is hot, and you’re just kind of like, ‘Maybe it’s...

Longtime sex therapist and advice columnist Dr. Ruth Westheimer is facing backlash for comments she made Monday, after she suggested a woman can’t change her mind about having sex with a man once she’s naked in bed with him. Appearing on the “The Diane Rehm Show,” the 86-year-old doctor said once two people are “aroused” and “in bed together,” the time for changing one’s mind has passed, Mashable reported. “I am very worried about college campuses saying that a woman and a man — or two men or two women, but I talk right now about woman and man —...

WASHINGTON (AFP) – The pioneer of media sex therapists, Dr Ruth Westheimer, has teamed up with the city of Washington to promote a 28-day romance stimulus plan for the US capital. "The word stimulus is a dream. It has something arousing," Westheimer, who is better known under as Dr Ruth, said at a press conference to announce the partnership. Dr Ruth will serve as honorary US Secretary of Love and Relations during the month of February -- the month of Valentine's Day -- with the brief to "jump-start the District's love economy." Around 16 million tourists, including 1.5 million from...

It's now more than 50 years since the revolution began. Sexual "liberation" has been endlessly ballyhooed by the national media, promoted in the movies, embraced by Playboy guys and Cosmo girls as a freedom more delicious than Eden's apple. No American under 40 can honestly remember a time when sex on TV was taboo, when "living together" meant married, when "gay" meant happy, and when almost every child lived with both parents. If truth be told, the revolution has been a disaster. Before the push to loosen America's sexual mores really got under way in the 1950s, the...

On Sept. 10, 1945, I landed in Palestine. Why was I there? The truth is, I didn't really have any other place to go. I'd lost my entire family to the Nazis so it was unthinkable to go back to Germany. I'd found safety in Switzerland, but once the war was over, all the refuges there had to find a different homeland. The United States was a place I dreamed of, but getting there was an impossibility. But the Jews were founding a new state in Palestine where I was not only wanted, but needed. I went to a kibbutz,...

It’s ok for “transsexual” men to use the ladies’ room? A mother should accept her daughter making a living by running porn sites? America should embrace same-sex “marriage?” Dear Abby, what have you come to? For more than 50 years, Dear Abby has been counseling people on how to live their lives. People usually associate Abby with common sense, but in reality she’s an unsung warrior in the sexual revolution—firmly on the side of Playboy, NARAL, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Dear Abby consistently steers people into the arms of Planned Parenthood, homosexual activist groups, and the...

Just caught a brief segment of a PBS kids show this morning called "Read Between the Lions". It is a show styled much like Sesame Street and promotes literacy and reading. I do not watch much TV and do not know if this is typical of PBS kids programming, but thought it was worth passing along. When I saw what appeared to be Dr. Ruth interacting with another character on the show, it got my attention. It sounded like her. Then the puppet character called her Dr. Ruth.
