Disney World has placed dozens of Venezuelan employees on unpaid leave after a court ruling allowed the Trump administration to strip legal protections from 350,000 migrants. An estimated 45 employees at the Florida park were notified on Tuesday that they had been placed on unpaid leave as a direct result of a Supreme Court order allowing Trump to revoke Temporary Protected Status for a huge cohort of Venezuelans. These employees were warned that their jobs would be terminated next month if they could not secure a new work authorization, Bloomberg reported. 'As we sort out the complexities of this situation,...

Bystanders tackled a man to the ground at Disney World to stop him pummeling at least one woman as screaming children looked on. The brawl broke out last month, but a video obtained by the Daily Mail shows good Samaritans pinning Cameron to the ground until security could haul him off and hand him over to cops. The video showed a young woman in Mickey Mouse ears holding a napkin against her bleeding nose, standing next to an older woman who possibly had a similar injury. “Both women had bloody noses and were crying. I saw two small children crying...

Disney theme parks are known for their customer service, attention to detail, and acceptance. It's called the "Disney difference." After all, Walt Disney famously declared, "To all who come to this happy place, welcome." But Disney parks, especially Walt Disney World, due to their size, can be pretty gender-polarizing and overwhelming for transgender, nonbinary, and/or queer children. That's not to say The Most Magical Place on Earth isn't fantastic for non-cis kids. In fact, it can be an incredibly positive, gender-affirming experience and a chance for kids who are socially transitioning at home or school—or haven't transitioned yet—to express themselves...

Disney said it was operating under normal conditions and planned, for now, only to close its campgrounds and rental cabins in wooded areas. Both theme parks said they would continue monitoring the weather and adjust accordingly

Workplace summit says it will 'harness,' 'grow' the 'light' of LGBTQ community The United States Secret Service, which has been the subject of heated scrutiny after two assassination attempts against former President Trump that many believe were avoidable, is now facing even more heat as it prepares to send employees to an LGBTQ-focused event at Florida’s Walt Disney World. The Secret Service is expected to send staff to Disney World on Oct. 7-10 as part of the Out and Equal Workplace Summit that includes breakout sessions, a gala and various events aimed at promoting LGBTQ diversity in the workplace. We are in the middle of a hotly contested presidential election. There have already been two attempted assassinations of Donald Trump. Reliable sources report Iran has sniper teams here to kill The Donald. So what does the Secret Service do? It sends needed agents to an all-expense paid LGBTQ conference at what Disney calls "The Most Magical Place on Earth." The Secret Service leadership finally admitted they did not assign the full complement of agents to Trump’s detail in Butler, Pennsylvania. Only a few were fully trained Protective Detail agents. The rest of the squad came from the B-Team. They...

The Secret Service failed to protect former President Donald Trump and the embattled agency will be taxed to the limit by the peak of presidential-campaign season. But it will be well-represented at an LGBTQ summit at Disney World. Reporter Susan Crabtree of RealClear Politics posted Wednesday on social media an agency-wide email from the Service’s DEI office that solicited people to attend the “Out and Equal” Workplace Summit at the Orlando, Florida, theme park.

An angry driver became so irate that he got out of the car to yell at the demonstrators, three of whom were arrested 11 minutes later by Florida cops.

Crocs have become a danger at Disney World — but not the ones with teeth and scales. Walt Disney World has reportedly declared war on Crocs, the ones you wear on your feet, following multiple incidents involving the foam slides jamming escalators. The Florida amusement park has “outlawed” the popular footwear — at least on its escalators — where the shoes have been getting chewed up and stuck in the escalator teeth, Inside the Magic reported.
