It took him 20 days to do it, but Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg finally made an appearance in East Palestine, Ohio, to tour the scene of the Train Derailment disaster. Of course, he did so as early in the morning as he could, surrounded by officials, obviously to avoid crowds of average people who might boo him or ask him difficult questions.
