“U.S. citizens are not deported. The mother chose to take the children with her.” Democrats refuse to give up their future voters without a fight. As President Donald Trump pledged on the campaign trail, his administration has made the removal of illegal immigrants a top priority. In response, the Left has opposed him at every turn. This opposition has placed them in the difficult position of defending the indefensible — most recently, by fighting the deportation of an alleged MS-13 gang member and protesting the arrest of a Wisconsin judge accused of helping an illegal immigrant to evade ICE.

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has thrown her support behind Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the accused MS-13 gang member and alleged domestic abuser who was deported to El Salvador by the Trump administration. “Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism,” the former secretary of state wrote in a Wednesday X post: “If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone,” Clinton continued. “Americans of conscience must stand against this now.” Abrego Garcia, 29, entered the United States illegally when he was 16...

MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill claimed Wednesday on “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump was deporting people because he didn’t “like their opinion.” McCaskill said, “The underpinning for this whole thing is this idea that we’re at war with Venezuela, and therefore, these people need to be deported without due process, without the court’s involvement. Clearly, everybody in America wants violent criminals who are here illegally out of the country, end of discussion, full stop. So let’s do it according to our laws. It’s not that hard. It doesn’t have to take a lot of time.”

Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the Trump administration deporting people illegally here who steal was a “terrible overreach.” Host Kristen Welker said, “Let’s talk about President Trump’s agenda now, particularly on immigration and the border. Congress, of course, passed a bill to address the border. Some of your Democratic colleagues from border states actually signed on. This is the Laken Riley Act, a bill, just so folks understand, that would effectively allow law enforcement to detain and deport those who have been convicted of theft-related crimes. in a statement explaining his vote your...

Images of “deportation flights” swept social media on Friday after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted striking pictures capturing illegal aliens waiting to leave the country. The images will please many Americans who want President Donald Trump to secure the southern border and prevent gang members, criminals, and migrants from entering the nation. “The Trump Administration arrested 538 illegal immigrant criminals including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several illegals convicted of sex crimes against minors,” Leavitt wrote on X. “The Trump Administration also deported hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals via military aircraft....

Seven men and one woman pleaded guilty to crossing the U.S. Mexico border without permission during a criminal court hearing this week. Their trial marked the beginning of Operation Streamline in California, a controversial program which fast tracks immigration prosecutions by putting multiple groups of people through a federal criminal court hearing simultaneously and in a short period of time. The group hearings are expected to be held each day in San Diego. Norma Aguilar, a supervisory attorney with the Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., called the program, “the inherently coercive system,” adding that some of the defendants’ attorneys...

With California slipping into a financial sinkhole, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is proposing to save more than $180 million by cutting short the sentences of thousands of immigrants in the state's prisons and turning them over to federal authorities for deportation. The idea faces certain hurdles — for one thing, commuting some sentences will require court approval — and immigration authorities warn that a mass release of inmates from California and other states could swamp the federal system, which is already at capacity. But Schwarzenegger spokeswoman Lisa Page said: "Every dollar not spent to house an undocumented immigrant inmate is a...
