Seven men and one woman pleaded guilty to crossing the U.S. Mexico border without permission during a criminal court hearing this week.
Their trial marked the beginning of Operation Streamline in California, a controversial program which fast tracks immigration prosecutions by putting multiple groups of people through a federal criminal court hearing simultaneously and in a short period of time. The group hearings are expected to be held each day in San Diego.
Norma Aguilar, a supervisory attorney with the Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., called the program, the inherently coercive system, adding that some of the defendants attorneys didnt agree with their clients decision to plead guilty.
Each person was charged with a misdemeanor, considered a minor wrongdoing, but their guilty plea leaves them with a criminal record which would affect their ability to come into the country legally in the future...

What a beautiful sight ...
BTW - Kudos to Jeff Sessions for bringing back mass deportations ...
It did not mention that they were deported.
I hope they do not have the right of appeal
Broadcast this far and wide and especially make sure they hear it south of the border. It will deter many I predict.
Agreed....
Knowing CA, they were probably released for future court trial....
and of course vanished like all the others.
I hope that home is in another country.
Process them and ship them out.
Wow....a logical system...
IIRC pleading guilty removes any right to appeal. Only applies if the defendant pleaded not guilty and was convicted either by a jury or by a judge at a trial.
So in her mind, attorneys should be able to override the wishes of their clients.
I hope they do not have the right of appeal.
Once they plead guilty they forfeit the right to appeal.

“Process them and ship them out.”
Yes, by all means ship them to Iceland, or the Arctic.
Judges and prosecutors and all associated with this program, will be targeted by latino gangs, and it will not be limited to MS-13. Once it starts, others will join in. 18, Tango Blast, Latin Kings, La Familia....this is too easy to predict.
A warden in El Salvador tried to gain control of his prison....he was executed. Lawyers have one of the highest mortality rates in Honduras.
It's coming. Book it.
Good. We need literally 10,000 of these cases a day for the next six years (or a rate that will convince the criminals that we can sustain that rate and they might as well go home on their own. Deport all illegals. No exceptions.
