The Twin Counties are mourning the loss of 3 children who died as a result of a Thursday morning house fire. A 4-year-old girl, Ryleigh Delp, and 9-month old boy, Randy Delp, were rescued from a bedroom. The two children, along with their 5-year-old brother, Gabriel Delp, were transported to Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, where Ryleigh Delp later died. Boston lead singer Brad Delp was driven to despair after his longtime friend Fran Cosmo was dropped from a summer tour, the last straw in a dysfunctional professional life that ultimately led to the sensitive frontman’s suicide, Delp’s ex-wife said. “No one can possibly understand the pressures he was under,” said Micki Delp, the mother of Delp’s two kids, in an exclusive interview with the Track. “Brad lived his life to please everyone else. He would go out of his way and hurt himself before he would hurt somebody else, and he was in such a predicament professionally that no...

There aren't many rock stars whose band's debut album sells nearly 20 million copies thanks to eight tracks that continue to get played on rock radio more than 30 years later. And there are even fewer who are so anonymous they could slip by most people unnoticed at the mall or even at one of their own concerts. But that's the story of Boston singer Brad Delp, who on Friday died at age 55 of undisclosed causes after leading one of the most understated rock and roll lifestyles of all time. Delp was the man who lent a muscular voice...

Brad Delp lit two charcoal grills in the bathroom adjacent to his master bedroom and committed suicide via asphyxiation last week, according to New Hampshire police who yesterday confirmed that the lead singer of the band Boston took his own life. “He was a man who gave all he had to give to everyone around him, whether family, friends, fans or strangers,” the singer’s family said in a statement. “He gave as long as he could, as best he could, and he was very tired. We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace.” Delp, 55,...

ATKINSON, N.H., March 9 (UPI) -- The man who introduced the world to the sound of Boston was found dead Friday in his New Hampshire home by police responding to an emergency call for help. Brad Delp, 55, apparently was alone in his house when he died, Atkinson, N.H., police said, adding that foul play was not suspected, E! News reported. The cause of Delp's death was being investigated. Boston, which included Delp, producer-songwriter-guitarist Tom Scholz, drummer Sib Hashian, guitarist Barry Goudreau and bassist Fran Sheehan, struck platinum many times over in 1976 with their self-titled debut, which featured the...

Cindy Sheehan, the drama queen who was removed from the House gallery last night before the State of the Union address for wearing a t-shirt with a political message, is not the first person to be tossed from a Congressional gallery at a high-profile event for wearing a political t-shirt.In the early days of the Senate's impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton in January 1999, a Pennsylvania man named Dave Delp was removed by the Capitol police from the Senate gallery for wearing a t-shirt that said, "Clinton doesn't inhale, he sucks."Unlike Sheehan, Delp didn't make a federal case of...
