In the holiday-shortened week, seven companies from the elite IBD 50 list will report earnings. They hail from a wide variety of industries and include online travel giant Priceline.com (PCLN), Ugg boots maker Deckers Outdoor (DECK) and U.S. oil producer Concho Resources (CXO). Most of 2010’s big winners were international or were driven by strong growth in emerging markets, while the U.S. expansion sputtered along. China, India and other developing nations should continue to do well in 2011, but America also seems to be building momentum. That bodes well for more domestic-focused companies.
