WASHINGTON -- A New York Times journalist, who was attacked Friday night while walking in Washington, D.C., has died. D.C. Police Sgt. Joe Gentile said David Rosenbaum was pronounced dead Sunday night at 7:10 p.m. Rosenbaum was being treated for a head injury following the attack. He was beaten from behind and his wallet was stolen.
