Danser was ordered last summer to stay away from alcohol as one of the terms he agreed to in exchange for serving his 90-day sentence under house arrest instead of jail after being convicted of fixing traffic tickets for friends and pro athletes. (AP) - A jury Friday convicted a Santa Clara County Superior Court judge of conspiracy and obstruction of justice for fixing 29 traffic tickets and giving judicial breaks to professional athletes and acquaintances. A criminal grand jury has indicted Santa Clara County Judge William Danser after hearing testimony that the judge may have fixed traffic tickets and handed out other favors, sources close to the investigation say. Danser, 50, was booked Monday at the sheriff's office on one felony count of conspiracy, as well as additional misdemeanor charges, according to Danser's attorney Ken Robinson.
