I am in the process of filing an appeal on a Tricare claim that failed to pay the proper amount. I am in need of someone with medical billing background to tell me what CPT codes are used for a urine electrophor test and a serum electrophor test. I know that the CPT codes 84165 and 84166 are used but I also have read that there are several other sub procedures that are part of the billing for these test. Some that I have identified are; 86335, 86334, 86320 and 86325, but I am not sure if they are routinely...

CPT Part 1 - A Corrupt, Un-Christian Legacy In 1984, Ron Sider's impassioned speech in Strasbourg, France, at the Mennonite World Conference, led to the formation of the "Christian Peacemaker Teams". No matter how sound the original idea, it quickly became corrupted into yet another leftist, blame-America group. The use of Vietnam-era war protester and socialist Gene Stoltzfus as the first director of the group made it clear what direction the group would follow. I will put up more details when I have a chance, but for now, let's look at where CPT is not: CPT's supposed expertise in encouraging...

"I need to get reacquainted with my partner Dan." - Jim Loney, freed Christian Peacemaker Team member, March 27. The Christian Peacemaker Team members have been called misguided and naive. But it's clear from here that Jim Loney is only selectively naive. He could not afford to talk about his partner while in captivity and didn't. Homosexuality in Saddam Hussein's Iraq was punishable by death. Amnesty International says the current status of gay and lesbian rights is unclear. But here are few things that are crystal clear. 1) Jim Loney only feels free to speak his mind about his sexual...

TORONTO (CP) - The co-director of the Christian Peacemakers Teams says the family of freed Christian peace activist James Loney kept his sexual orientation quiet out of fear for his safety. Doug Pritchard says the family feared Loney might come to harm at the hands of his Iraqi captors had they known he was gay. Pritchard says it likely wouldn't have helped if Loney's partner, Dan Hunt, had come forward with public pleas for his release. Hunt made his first public appearance since Loney's ordeal began last November when he greeted his partner Sunday at the airport. Loney arrived in...

Briton Norman Kember and his Canadian colleagues James Loney and Harmeet Singh Sooden were freed after a multinational military raid acting on information provided by a detainee, the US military says. The rescue was completed without any shots being fired and with no kidnappers present, suggesting the operation was carefully planned and carried out. But the crucial bit of intelligence that enabled the rescue came only after two men were captured by US forces on Wednesday night. One of the suspects had the information which led officials to the Baghdad house where the hostages were four months into their ordeal....

Hostages' group on wrong sideToronto Sun By Peter Worthington December 9, 2005 It's possible to have sympathy for people whose actions you consider foolish, reckless and futile. So it is with those four members of the Christian Peacemakers Teams (CPT) in Iraq who've been taken hostage and whose captors have extended their execution date to Saturday. Originally, their captors, something calling itself the Swords of the Righteous Brigades, vowed to execute all four yesterday if Britain and the U.S. didn't free all Iraqi prisoners in their custody immediately. Clearly, this isn't going to happen. The fact that the kidnappers even...

(IsraelNN.com) Some of the members of the Christian Peacemaker Teams kidnapped in Iraq were previously stationed in Hevron, where members of the local Jewish community say they interfered with security forces and incited local Arabs against Jews living in the city.Fariel Abu Haikel, Headmistress at Kurtuba Girls School in Hevron praised the work of the volunteers and asked that the Iraqi terrorists that kidnapped them set them free. “As a women who works with them, I send my call for the Iraqi resistance to release these people because CPT are very important people for us. Michele Naar-Obed knows she will not stop the war in Iraq by walking the streets of Baghdad, unarmed and unguarded, calling for an end to the violence, but she considers it her duty to try. She is 49 years old, a mother, a wife, a pacifist who can't stand to be passive. Soldiers put their lives on the line for their country; she will risk hers too, in pursuit of peace. Four of her colleagues in the pacifist movement were kidnapped in Baghdad late last month. The men — fellow members of Christian Peacemaker Teams — have been threatened with...

Baghdad -- The day after Christmas, as reporter Phil Sands was driving to an interview in a desolate Baghdad neighborhood, two luxury sedans suddenly blocked the way, forcing Sands' driver to stop. About 10 men in ski-masks and AK-47 rifles piled out and swarmed around his car. Sands' translator and driver got out. The masked men pushed them to the ground and handcuffed them. When Sands got out of the car, the men pulled his wool hat down onto his eyes, handcuffed him, stuffed him into the trunk of one of the cars, and sped off. Sands recalled thinking, "I'm...
