Republicans took a major blow after their attempt to impeach disgraced Deputy of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas failed, and someone was waiting in the wings with a savage 3-word response. You remember George Santos, whom Republicans voted to oust, right? Well, after the failed vote, he had something to say, which Republicans should take to heart. After all, they can’t impeach a man who’s destroying the country, but they can get rid of a Republican congressman who could have voted with them. Either the GOP is just plain stupid, or they’re doing everything they can to help the left. Santos...

‘The House should sharply reduce IRS funding until the agency is more responsive.” Well, I’d have omitted everything after “funding” but this was still an astute observation, offered at the conclusion of Thursday’s excellent Wall Street Journal editorial. I’m grateful to have smart guys on the team, even if slumming with us power-of-the-purse radicals may get them booted from the GOP’s “We’re only one-half of one-third” circle of submission. The editors were exercised over the revenue agency’s latest shenanigans, which include covering up its past shenanigans — the willful targeting of conservative groups in order to frustrate their opposition to...

I have great respect for Ambassador Keyes, and for his acumen, but his article on World Net Daily suggesting that if Governor Bush does not call out the State Police, or I assume, also the National Guard to save Terri’s life, he is derelict in his duty. Ambassador Keys owes us a better argument than the practically off the cuff argument in his article. Ambassador Keyes is not alone in his harsh criticism of Governor Bush, but I am not with them in this.      When Governor Bush moved the legislature of Florida to pass Terri’s Law it did so...

If only terrorists in Iraq had ready access to C-SPAN. Maybe then they would not have missed last Friday's orgy of regret by American politicians and so savagely killed 26-year-old Nick Berg to avenge the abuse of Iraqi prisoners in Abu Ghraib. Again on Tuesday, members of Congress in their camera-ready red ties lectured men in uniform about the shameful conduct of the abusive MPs as though those who wear the same uniform and who have taken the same oath don't feel the shame more sharply than a politician ever could. Congressmen performing on Capitol Hill are Washington's version of...
